Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

Well being a God he can’t really die, I think, so he might fall into Tartarus instead.

Kratos would argue that point

Yeah, but Kratos is a weirdo who loves rubbing his dead family all over his body.

I wonder if there is going to be a choice not to kill your opponent.

I can see my MC fighting Sage in the final round and having the choice of whether to kill her or not

Yay, I’ve managed to play the new update a few more times! That was fun. Did you add a few more descriptors to the relationship levels? I don’t think I’ve seen some of them before, especially Saint and Calypso’s (or maybe I was being unobservant). It’s pretty cool to see the descriptions change every so often! Also, that cliffhanger. Dangit, I really wanted to see what Aeson was like!

A few things (I hope this isn’t annoying!):

8:56. I’ve already missed breakfast.

Was it supposed to be 7.56? Otherwise, MC’s missed most of Chemistry as well, since it ends at 9!

But there is something…off about this entire dilemma. Aren’t all the Seeker’s rarely on Olympus, let alone in the Institute? What was he doing here?

I believe that should be “Seekers”?

Also, hmm, I think this line should be showing up if I ignored the Seeker and went straight to class:

*if ignoreseeker = true
Your interest is spiked. Who are they talking about?

But it isn’t, and I just skip directly to Adonis’s comment.

Calypso finishes, sighing. “I wish I could’ve been there to see it.”

Adonis raises an eyebrow. “You wish you were at the scene of a murder?”

I think it’s because of this line:

#put the situation out of your mind and rush to class.
        *set ignoreseeker false
You have enough on your plate without adding more to it with useless goose chases.

Since it sets the variable to false. Unless you wanted to do that, in which case ignore me.

And while we’re at this part, I wanna say I was kinda confused about the MC telling Saint and co about the Seekers’ “attempts in trying to get past the barrier”, when the convo the MC overheard doesn’t seem to mention a barrier at all. Maybe I missed something, but I just thought they were talking about getting past some sort of security that was heightened because of the Bearer’s appearance. And I didn’t get that the “right under Zeus’ nose” was referring to a traitor, lol. MC is much better at intrigue than little unobservant me.

I haven’t tested the fight system much, but since I tend to favour Wit, my MCs have gotten through the battles without much difficulty (even my Novice Warrior MC had almost as much Wit as Strength, so that doesn’t really count). It seems to work well, but if there’s a HP count, I’d like for the HP to appear somewhere just so I can track it during the battle, which would probably change some of my choices in the battle.

Others have said the fight tended to favour Wit unfairly, so perhaps you could lower the requirements for Wit if Strength is above a certain value, or allow for pure Strength (ie brute-forcing) options?

Another thing (last one, I promise), this isn’t an error, but more like an observation? When I saw the option to talk about Saxon’s black eyes I had to go check the text during the fight again, because I thought I remembered them being blue, and I realised that Saxon had blue eyes when he first confronted MC, but then after the MC showed their power, his eyes were described as “pitch black”. I wonder if maybe the gang could just tell who was being possessed by looking for people whose eye colour changed to black? Haha.

Oops, this ended up really long. Sorry!

I was boring so I created another character, A more traditional Mara, I called her Macbeth. A warrior within strength and a great wit. I had more than 50 but text says not. And good allure. I decided make her just against hunters not gods. She is charming and manipulative, with a hint of sarcasm. I found weird not flirting options. My character would flirt even with a tree, lol. My character is not in love but she like Adonis would try to spice her life, and use people to obtain her goals. She would certain give a high five to Adonis forhis date. And said about her painting that they could painting her nude if they want. More winks and flirting is needed.

I want to fight Calypso in the final round tho. We could have a real rematch.

My MC just wants to leave, get a plane ticket, and fly back to the US.

Why? It’s not like there is anything for them to go back to. I think this is a much better life for them because they are now somewhere that they belong. Even if some messed up things are happening and are about to happen, this is where somewhere they could potentially call home. They wouldn’t have to feel out of place like they did in the States because they aren’t the only demigod anymore.

It depends entirely on your personal perspective. Why my character could stay in touch with the people who trying to control her, making her life a pure lie. Then left her to rotten and sending killers against her. Then being FORCED to a live she doesn’t want and having to fight until death against people who they have being since their mothers thumb to fighting. Besides, she would be death anyway in two years . So why she would care about all these people who only thought in themselves and in their godly parent?

Because it’s not their life anymore, they were taken half way around the world by Saint and laid in a hospital bed unconscious for a week doing something they didn’t want to do. They’ve been told they’re some ancient mystical power, and that they have to become the Hero or they’ll die.
Sure, they love Athena and Hades, but they can’t help but feel that they’re being used in some centuries old plot. They went from hating the gods to being apathetic and depressed about the whole thing.

They no longer seen themselves as a person, but as just some McGuffin to be tossed aside later.

tl;dr: My MC is having an existential crisis.

Thanatos?!? I thought that was a guy!

But why do they die so young? I think I missed that part. You know who ever is behind the other group of seekers will continue hunting you regardless, and if you didn’t go to Olympus you would have never got rid of the blocker limiting your power. At least here you can gain some allies to have your back. As for they having to kill your opponent I really hope I can refuse. They are not your enemy, they are fellow warriors. I will not murder someone for sport.

Because their mortal body cannot contain the Essence for a long time.

For you are your friends, for me are trained demigods puppets trained as an army, without no guilty about killing. They’re ok to killing themselves until only get one of them alive. Also the possession stuff. No one of them was nice with my character, no one ask her if it’s ok. No they treat her as A tool. Like A SACRIFICING LAMB about to being slaughter. If they are so proud gods they could fight their own wars. They even obliged my girl fight against a GIANT!!! She is a F*&% Mage lol with only 35 strong and no magic.

Se would be Dead lol. Sorry for the typo.

She was the same size as my MC who is also a warrior. It was a good fight and I hope to face her again.

I am a feble model parring with a giant… Without powers and within weapons training at all. I Was a Cheerleader!!! Not Buffy vampire slayer!!
