Raquel gives off major “Am I a joke to you?” vibes.
I think this has been answered before, but I may have forgotten. How does the act of getting shot increase Raquel’s attraction to us? I get the logic in scenarios like the one I posted a while back, where my character’s health was literally at zero, but otherwise?
It’s not so much getting shot, as letting her fix you afterwards.
(If I understood correctly.)
I would agree cause unlike Gabriel you don’t refuse so that would be a plus for her
That I understand. But if I recall correctly, in the middle of a mission, my relationship stat with Raquel would increase as my character took damage.
It’s both the act of risking yourself for The Archangels, which Raquel very much so appreciates, and letting her work on you, which she will also appreciate.
Getting shot could mean two things
- You’re an idiot
- You’re willing to risk your life for her, Gabriel, and The Archangels
EDIT: Raquel would very much so appreciate you letting her work on you, because Gabriel sometimes likes to wave away her concern and deny any form of medical treatment, even though he clearly needs it. One of the main reason Raquel is frustrated with Gabriel
It took a bit longer than I’d hoped, but I return bringing -

I understand the reason for all the ”rolling” *page_breaks, but they feel a bit annoying and disruptive. This did get better as I played, so it might just be a case of needing to adjust to the change.
-
I know it’s been there forever, but Michael asking Gabriel if Kaidan has chosen a team seems weird, when he already asked the MC if they’ve made a choice.
Your first heist day. Finally time for some action. You and Mouse have set your alarms to midnight. The two of you wake up simultaneously at half past midnight.
The two of you take a bath, one after another, and get yourselves dressed.
-
Why do we wake up at half past midnight, when the alarms were set to midnight? Also, two consecutive lines starting with ”The two of you.”
-
How much difference is there, content-wise, between plaing as criminal or vigilante?
-
Since we have customizable looks, I feel like the romance scenes would be a great place to reference those.
-
Okay, how do you avoid killing the third security guard in the ATM heist? I really want to pull the heists without casualties, but I don’t get a choice in the matter. Not to mention that the shooting alerts the cops. I tried looking through the code, but urgh.
-
I’m not sure I paid the right amount for the titanium mask.
Gabriel nods “That’s right… but not for you, is it?” he asks you. “Don’t worry, we may about to go through a storm, but we’ll watch your back… You have nothing to fear” he says to you through his white mask and red smile.
-
we may be about to

The WEAPONS page of the stat screen says I have neither a secondary nor a melee weapon, though I have both.

Silly item idea: Plot Armor.
*if DCrange > 12
*set KaidanWound +1
But then, you hear Gabriel next to you, grunting as you see blood spurting out of his right arm. A bullet has just cut through it. You hear Gabriel grunting, but he continues to keep the van as stable as he can.
*line_break
*line_break
*if DCrange > 10
*set GabeWound +1
You also hear behind you, Kaidan grunting in pain “Agh! Shit” As he returns fire, switching to his pistol.
*line_break
*line_break
- Shouldn’t KaidanWound and GabeWound be switched here?
#Grab Raquel’s hand
*set RelGabe +4
*set RelGabe -4

While stopping her from killing Andrew.

Surprised we get so big a relationship drop from talking Rook down.
-
When returning from VAMcorp, the rel increase from hugging Mouse, and the decreases from poking Gabriel or pulling off his mask, only seems to exist if Rook isn’t along. Is that on purpose?
Rook thinks about and sighs with shrug “True, but if we’re gonna do that, we’ll have to let Gabriel know. He seems to be rather hell bent on finding about about th-”
- Double about.
“Yeah, a transfer just came in under the name Taliesin {fakelastname}” She says.
- Missing $
working in tandem with the sprinklers to make sure very customer in the strip zone is dripping wet.
- Missing e in every.
You can see Rook and Bishop behind the windscreen as they park the van in the loading bay. Rook hops out and opens his arms “Hey! What’s up?!”
“You’re late” Gabriel says as he walks up to them.
“Had a little trouble finding this ‘Alexandra Caufield’ person” Rook says. “I need to find out about someone from the Cartels. Hope you don’t mind.”
-
This still happens, even though all three hangouts is completed, and Alex has been returned home.
-
The coin is priced at 10.000, but only cost me 5.000.
““Yeah, I’m good. Michael and Gabriel took care of it””

That’s a lot of ”’s

Blanket Burrito!
-
The Rook romance scene lacks quite a few comma’s, especially in front of ”as”’s.
He smiles and nods in appreciation. “Hey, maybe we can form our own trio?” Rook looks to you and Bishop.
- Awww, my MC feels appreciated.
Judging by how red his cheeks are you, you would guess he’s now drunk.
-
Double you. (w)

The additions to the Gabriel romance definitely helps with the issues I had before.
It was absolutely worth it! This is the type of feedback I really need in private testing, and the fact that you actually went into the codes brings warmth to my heart, considering how much of a horribly jumbled mess the codes are…
I’ll fix some of the minor ones and comment only to the ones that would take a bit longer to fix
Yeah, it was implemented near the end of the game of I’ll need to re do some of the other *page_breaks near the start of the game that was made before this was implemented… Which is everything in chapater 1, 2, and half of chapter 3…
In part 1? Very little. Since I didn’t exactly plan on using them as both an origin story type of thing, but I dropped it halfway through writing the game. However, in part 2, this difference will be more prevalent.
That’s… a good idea! I’ll keep this in mind.
You’ll have to bring Hayne, since she has a suppressed pistol, but there’s no avoiding shooting him. You can avoid killing him though, by shooting him through the leg. He’ll fall unconscious, but he’ll live… I hope…
In some hangouts, you can bring your secondary and melee, but only if they’re concealable.
Sometimes this code carries onto the chapter so it’s a bit of a pain to find the source…
… Tell you what, that sounds amazing, but I think it has a better place than Gregory’ Glorious Goods. Perhaps it’s something you can unlock at the end of the game, and then use said armour for part 2
Whose relationship? If it’s Rook, that’s intentional. He doesn’t know who you are.
That was a bug, fixed.
This is because
The coin prices vary on how much of luck you already have, which depends on the difficulty, so this will take a while to fix, but it shouldn’t be too hard.
Man, I can’t believe the game is so close to completion… 3 more updates and we shall get one of the best COG games ever made. I-I’m not crying, you are!
For real though, it’s been nice journey and wot not. I’m excited for what’s to come next in the future and know that im a supporter all the way.
pick Buffed Body , Silver Tongue skill…and click ‘say nothing’ reply at every turn
Btw…hate to ask…but is there anyway to bring back the SETTING . wanna turn that white background to the color of the abyss…where I don’t have to squint cose it hurt to read…
You know I’m happy to help!
True that.
But, it’s not too bad. Except for trying to find a specific scene in unimodule. That’s really annoying.
Automaticly unlocked at the end? Or by something like never dying, or never getting wounded, or maybe dying so much that you clearly need it?
I guess I’d just personally rather have someone persuade me, than shoot me.
But then, I’m definitely not Rook.
I think something’s missing here.
At least a period, if nothing more.
Well, my MC now has a luck of 8!
Pretty sure that makes him a demi-god, or something…
…
BTW, I can’t remember if you have said anything about this, but will the two “halves” of the game have different titles? Or will it just be Part 1 and Part 2?
It’s been seriously hectic, but the end is near. Story-wise, it’s half finished, which is what I need for the first chapter. but I still would need to complete a couple of hangouts left, but that could be done pretty quickly.
I wish I could do something about that man, I really do… but Dashingdon doesn’t have that option…
I can change it into this, if you’d like
But then the images would be a bit screwed…
Also, they won’t know how good you are at persuading if you don’t open your mouth to speak
Don’t go into the MISC file, I swear, sometimes it’s like going into a massive engine room without having any knowledge on what button does what and which engine is most important…
The MISC.txt file is the heart of the game. I screw around with anything and off to the choir invisible it goes…
This is for something the MC doesn’t need to know. I can’t say much because of spoilers on his background story, but Rook is very paranoid at times.
… I think I forgot to continue typing or something
What I meant to say was that it’s because Rook still needs a reason to be there. But this has been fixed.
Enjoy your luck!
I… have no clue
I like to keep it as “The Archangel Job”, because part 2 is where the real job comes in, robbing the bank.
So, I’ll have to talk to Ben about that, since he’s co-author. But… I haven’t talked to him in awhile now, and I’m starting to worry…
Rook being paranoid is understandable seeing as he has worked with Gabriel and Micheal before.
That image scares me because of the red outlines or the red color in general. All those colors together come across as menacing (imo).
Why not do what ze is doing and release it in episodes that way you can use the same title. The great potato: part 1 then youd release part 2 later under same file and charge as if full game. Everyone wins and less icons on my phone :]
I’ll have to talk to COG’s Hosted Games about that…
Why not go all in with a melee weapon called the macguffin and a revolver called chekov’s gun
Hi! There is something about the customization of the character that does not quite fit, for me. It is about the weight; in the description we talk about weight, but not about height. In the case of selecting “regular and normal” the weight is 77kg. In case of being of generalized average height (170cm men and 160 women) it’s a little high. I measure 158 cm and the weight of the “slim and thin” option is the one that fits the most, without me being slim or thin, I’m rather normal.
Is there some way in which this can be regulated and changed depending on whether the MC is male or female? Because in these cases, the physical constitution is also different. I like to play (not always) an average height (sometimes a little shorter if the option exists) character, 'cause life is hard for short people
I do not know if I explained clearly… sorry if doesn’t make sense.
In any case this fact does not change the hype I have for the game. Currently it is among the first two wip that I look forward (and need) to seeing finished.
There this cruel fight for the first place.
I didn’t realize there’s a height option :o how do you check that
There isn’t, but when you choose the MC body type, it appear in the status the weight. And it’s the same weight beeing a man, woman or nb, and there isn’t the option of choose a height for the MC, so, I really don’t know if the MC is the same height (I don’t know wich is it, I didn’t find it) being a no, man or woman.
I wonder over this every time I’ve replayed the game (just a few not that many )
