I don’t think they meant Hayden. I think they are talking about the OLDER sister Serah, who is dead, but was only Hayden’s half sister. Serah shares a father (the king) with Hayden, but her mother wasn’t the Queen but Cecilia’s mother. So Serah is a half sister to Hayden and Cecelia and Caio.

Okay, but…if that’s the case she’s dead and can’t inherit or marry so who cares? The only real political move that can be made is…pissing off the king?

You’re right but the royal family and the grand duchy will take a HUGE political hit because not only did the King and Grand duchess have an affair but also they sat a “bastard” Princess on the throne AND lied to to their people about it for YEEEEAAARRRSSSS. My MC will use this secret to undermine the King AND put the grand duchess in her place for all the crap the crap she talks about Darian just because she was jealous of MCs mother.

From the way I see it. The archduke was known for being friends with MCs mom but at the end of the day they put their loyalty to the crown above all else so why can’t MC ? It’ll suck hurting Cecilia and Caio but why shouldn’t MC put Darian first when that’s what they do ?

No point in doing that caused the author said it themselves that you can’t conquer Petrus for some reason.
What’s the point, if you can’t benefit from their turmoil, l would just leave them alone now knowing I would get nothing out of it.

I think because if the mc grows old and finally dies Darian kingdom is good as conquered.
If I remember the main reason for Darian and Petrus alliance is because of how small they actually are against their neighbors when war happened. Both kingdom won’t survive without each other when the mc is gone.

Just don’t tell the proud old men that. We saw what a few thousand rebels unchecked could do. 
Yeah, that was kinda an eye opener for them to realize how weak they actually are. But I think they can’t work together unless Darian or Petrus settle it on the battle field or through marriage with Hayden.
Another option for those who don’t like Hayden is through marriage with another royalty that is not Petrus like Nix.

There is certainly subtle way for reconciliation at least so far it seems that way, but I think if we need to completely eliminate this racism there has to be major change like the old generation need to go.

Wow no new post since I last visited so here is one to keep the thread alive. Hayden’s bratty attitude pisses me off so much makes me wish my mc could punch them. Even though I’m playing an mc in a way that hints at them having had feelings for Hayden since childhood.
