I understand, but as @Vicky_ThePanda and @jjc73 have already mentioned, the rewrite is still years in the past, not the current time of the old demo, so there will still be a certain way to go until we get there. Maybe you return when I have reached chapter 2, as by then the events of the old demo will be expanded and brought back

Are they way to signal the time in the story ? maybe the age of the hero ?

Currently in the demo, the mc is 14/15 years old, but I plan to have a time jump later on that will bring the mc to the events of chapter 1 of the old demo, but expanded and with new translation, scenes, options, etc.

I did like flashback events. Bit confusing when they are out of order but did like them.
I will have to read demo again soon.

Playing the streamlined demo ive encountered some issues first and more minor at the moment is there is still some gender issues with eris in the village when suppost to be female has nephew and the like. Though not as many popped out at me from before now to the bigger issue at fathers intial arrival to the village it forces to replay three years earlier up to sir fions execution once more before we get to play the tent portion at the village with him and the others.
Will let you know if i find anything else after sleep and possibly work lol along with other thoughts and what have you.

Hey loved the update just had a couple questions.
How much more do you want to write, until book 1 is done? And also how many more books do you want to write?
what decides whether or not a child is born a elementalist? if one parent is a elemental what are the chances the child will be one? Also what happens if a child has two elemntalist for parents, do they inherit both powers or just one?
Is the old demo officially gone, i liked both versions, and i enjoyed the academy setting. And will we/when will we get to go to the academy?
I would also to see more content with hayden,love all the scenes with her. She is by far and away my favorite character to interact with

The âcurrentâ Demo is taken place before the âoldâ Demo, later the âoldâ demo will be put in current demo but later chapter.
At least thatâs how author planning to do.

yeah i donât think there is a viable link anymore, i went to the other page for blood legacies and it had a link but it no longer works, unlucky

Played the new demo (with flashbacks)
Couple of things I spotted:
Hayden occasionally addressed with male terms
Eris being addressed often with male terms or just âthe youngâ - will want to swap nephew for niece and add boy/girl after âthe youngâ
Events around Sir Fion post abduction attempt donât make sense. Why is our MC suddenly upset with our father at the execution of Fion and after? Personally, my MC would have been falling over themselves to execute the guy and be pleased with our father for leaving the task to her
Other than these points I felt it was very much improved over the initial demo.

Summary
Pertaining to Sir Fion he wasnât actually kidnapping MC with bad intentions it was more of him having to watch Eleazar constantly abuse his kid in the name of âtrainingâ for years after Alexandraâs death, so he was trying to take MC to give them a better life. We have to remember MC is still a kid going through all this âtrainingâ. Eleazar sees MC as his âheirâ while others see MC as just a young child who lost their mother and is left with this uptight, paranoid and emotionally detached father.

While that is certainly a view that other people around the MC and father would likely have, it dismisses that MC might actually agree with the fatherâs outlook. Iâm playing mine that way at least.
Iâm playing my MC with the cold and cruel approach such that she would feel that had she been stronger, faster, more powerful she might have been able to save her mother. So being taken away by Fion (whatever his motives) would anger her and make himself an obstacle to be removed from her path.
