To the author, I greatly apologize for starting this chain reaction. I simply meant to suggest a feature or scene, but it appears that I have unwittingly begun a chain reaction to where we are now talking about Hayden and our fantasies.
Please do not feel pressured into adding ANYTHING. This is your passion project, and the last thing I want to do is make it appear as if I want to control the story. Apologies if it came off that way.
Love the book btw! The first on I’ve ever read on the website, and the only one that keeps me coming back to check in on it.
What have you done, Wolffe? We Hayden Simps are out in force now, fantasizing as we wait for updates.
Well, marrying MC and Hayden would usually be ideal for the political stability of the two joined kingdoms. Would solve issues of whose land belongs to which side in noble marriages, Darian or Petrus, if they all become one kingdom.
But of course, old prejudices in the older generation and all… Plus, the petty squabbles of Eleazor and Petrus King. Those two are like temperamental toddlers throwing a tantrum cause one of them touched the other’s side of the play blanket.
By the way, am I the only one alarmed by King of Petrus reaction to our hero and his mother? When we were first presented to court. Why do I get the distinct feeling that our mother had a history with the king. And the reason for the strained relationship between the king and our father is our mother too.
Same way more into calm characters tbh. Also helps that we’ll probably get most likely 0 resistance from our father if we get together with her. Not to mention got more romance scenes than anyone right now I believe. Can’t wait to catch up to the old demo where we can be in a fake relationship.
I think that I, as one of the (probably very few) that wasn’t thrilled with the mother, simply don’t trust her (Cecilia) or anyone else that she (mother) introduced the character to. Hayden MC finds and (if player chooses) befriends on their own. Everyone else is a part of someone else’s agenda.
It was still at the mother’s behest, and with her approval. Yes, she left you the illusion of choice, but you were at her ally’s property and that ally had children around your age. Its a very hands off manipulation, but it does still strike me as manipulation.
