Ashenmaw - Dragons of Marrowoods (WIP) (Dragon Fantasy) (Minor Bugfix 01/08/26 77k total, 32k per read)

On an unrelated note:

Still rewriting the sections for the gods, and to give you an impression, here’s the change in word count for the first three:

Chakythinos: 139 → 929
Nimeyope: 138 → 1275
Aethedus: 222 → ~1189 and counting (not done here yet)

chapter length is at 19670 words with code atm

Important question:

right now the stats influenced by the choices are displayed in the wip.

Should I make this a togglable option and/or maybe a dlc that would then also give you additional stuff adventure/interaction-wise because your whelp possesses a minor gift of clairvoyance?

Adding a option to toggle the choice stats on and off would be perfect. I found it distracting since it broke the story telling aspect for me but it’s perfect for testing purposes right now so we know if they are doing what it should.

I agree that a toggle option would be best

i agree with everyone on the stats being togglable.

my brain is still wrapping around the dlc option though. (stupid brain isn’t braining)

I would make it a togglable option for those who don’t want to see the effect of the choices.

Another vote for togglable options. Sometimes I like knowing what’s what, and sometimes I don’t. So being able to choose would be nice.

I’ve been playing around with making things togglable, and switching it on an off won’t change things immediately.

Does anyone know if there is a possibility to achieve that (like, you switch things on/off and it does affect the page you’re on?)

Having another Option is never a bad thing, I think. But besides that, would that mean that if you turn them off, your stats wouldnt effect the outcome of you choices in general?

No, it would just mean you don’t see what a choice effects on the stats anymore, but it would still affect the stats etc

Okay, thats fair. I think I would prefer that in the end as well.^^

Quick Status update:
Bit of a writing slump right now, but got some bits written longhand.

Phyron remains a dumbass. As in he is going to try and kill the winter whelp (again) at the frigging festivities

Will try to have the new version up asap

Phyron is so dead. Is it possible for the MC to kill him in revenge? That’s something I’d love to do when I play as a Black Flight MC.

Black Flight MC: “You tried killing me twice. I was willing to forgive the first attempt, but I can’t forgive a second. And I won’t allow a third.”

Jump cut to both of you two little shit with your wings broken by Alerhon and tie to the bed next to each others.

unfortunately we need him down the line.

You know what, i’m not gonna be surprised if someone (particularly Alerhon) makes the whelp and Phyron do something like this.

Ugh! The indignity! It’s all Phyron’s fault. He tries to kill the MC (twice). Why should the MC have to suffer because of his stupidity? (Especially for Black Flight MC)

@MeltingPenguins

Can we at least have the option to make Phyron’s life a living hell moving forward? I wanna make him regret trying to kill the MC (twice), if unaliving him isn’t an option.
