“ ston’s gaunt face shows momentary surprise before settling into grim satisfaction. “Twenty? Well done, Captain. That exceeds expectations.” He studies you with newfound respect. “How did you manage it without bloodshed?”
“Tactical approach, sir. Secured their position before making contact, left them no viable alternatives except return.”
Says this even though I went in openly, didn’t cut off any escape routes, and just appealed to their loyalty to their comrades

More general thoughts on the new content:
The new battle was a ton of fun to play. Great job.
I will say one element that’s missing so far, which is in the best IF war stories, is the deployment and allocation of resources.
For example, in I, the Forgotten One, you can choose when and how to deploy sections of your army. You also have to choose the composition of your troops with limited resources. Similarly, in Infinity, you are regularly choosing which segments of your troops to deploy, with what tactics, etc.
In this game thus far, you mostly pick a tactic and the way to win is simply to pick the one best suited to your MC/regimental skills. It doesn’t seem like picking “target the officers” is ever the wrong choice if you have the troops and MC suited for it, no matter the situation.
This is a minor, constructive critique in the current content. A junior officer with a new regiment has relatively few men to deploy and doesn’t generally allocate reserves and resources. But as time goes on and after the promotion you get, I would like to see those choices dealing with how to allocate troops, supplies, reserves, limited resources, etc. And being forced to alter your tactics more regularly due to the situation at hand.
