I meant greyness in the way how people feel about you. I don’t think it makes sense for an entire country of people, to be fine with the conqueror and his or her actions just because they happen to be the MC.
Can’t wait for Parivir to open up this thread only to see +300 new posts that he will have to read through
Loollll this made me laugh xD I totally agree/understand Leon having to punish/kill the MC in that situation, its just the way he did that’s crazy. Like, really dude? After they fought for this country for years at war? You needed to BURN THEM ALIVE? Not even a grave site? And yet you say you loved them? Naaah, that’s real betrayal.
I’d like to sway of the topic a little and revisit an earlyer one, what everyone’s favorite outfits and personalitys are for there mc. Sort of more “it’s fun to pretend than self insert” kinda personality and looks.
Reading this thread is always a trip—a never-ending Odyssey… of circular arguments.
Correct you are my friend but I still love to visit the descutions because every once in a while the discussion turns into what we love about the game and how we hope it continues in the future.
I usually go for charming, friendly types. I usually go noble at the start, maybe more pragmatic later.
I go for a more reserved, noble mc who later on becomes more pragmatic and stoic.
I do much the same going for charming and a little emotional basically Saine at the beginning. after death going for a more F personality and becoming stoic but not without a careing side I like to think my mc is lil bit tramitized and scared of being there more childish and vonrable true self. I find it really fun in these stories to be able to make a whole character and the author really shines at letting us do that.
I start out noble, charming, emotional, and optimistic, after being reborn, I’m pragmatic, reserved, stoic, and cynical
I’d also love to hear who you think your MC’s would relate to more out of all the characters and I mean from the ROs to even the MC’s sister or"father". My MC’s would be Saine.
My MC is probably a mix of Ilya and F, at least post resurrection, having the formers pragmatism and the ladders ruthlessness without the constant anger to go with it. Pre-resurrection, he was definitely Leon 2.0 except actually, you know, smart
That’s exactly how I amagine my post death mcs that’s also what made me deside to romance F.
I mentioned this before, fires are like… the thing to do when it comes to… disposing of people convicted of religious crimes.
And also we have a convo with Eli about Jovian… death rites in bk 2
It seems it was kinda necessary according to their scriptures to burn us.
Ilya mostly. Extremely altruistic and optimistic. More veangeful though.
I wrote the same arguments and the same jokes about 4 times already, this truly is a Cycle of Hatred
P.S. I’m really hoping that this thread will last for duration of Book 2 and 3. It will be fun to re-read all the theories we had back in a day.
We gotta be careful It will come to 10k replies and be closed haha
I mean, in the dungeons he literally says he would’ve figured out a way to let you go if you would just tell him why you did it. So it’s not like he was against breaking the rules for MC. In my opinion, he was hurt/angry and thought they were deserving of that death, and so they got it. His reasons for thinking they deserved it were valid, sure, but he wasn’t the one that got barbecued.
Ultimately though people will play the game different and their thoughts on things will follow suit, that’s the fun of it all. Me though? I think regardless of whether or not you think what he did was necessary, that’s a pretty horrific fate to subject someone you love to, and worthy of being called a betrayal - especially considering Ilya and Saine were ready to take risks to prevent MC from having to go through that. So yeah, nah, my MC will take being dragged through the streets and burned alive personally lol. I’m not buying the whole “my hands were tied” thing because bro, no. MC’s hands were tied. To the pyre.
These conversations are fun <3 I had a blast reading these books
My game literally ended right as I got to part we were supposed to be reborn in the first book. I actually bought the game. Is it supposed to do that?
You mean at the execution? That’s the end of book 1. Rebirth is book 2
