UPDATE POST
Hi, everyone! The demo for Book 2 (ver 1.0) is now officially live!
This update contains 198k words’ worth of content, which, as expected, is more than the currently-published Book 1. It advances the story by somewhere in the ballpark of 25k words compared to the last pre-release update. Importantly, it contains a robust character creator for people new to the series! A ‘randomize a character’ feature is also in the works, but I figured I’d get this out there asap given how long it’s been since the last update.
My personal dashingdon saves were purged due to a local mishap, so I can’t say for sure - but as far as I can tell, old saves should still work! If not, please let me know, and I’ll be sure to adjust this paragraph accordingly.
The update contains everything but the very tail end of the Yotai arc (which is a bit of a cruel cliffhanger, which is part of the reason why it was omitted in this version). This means a completion of all the festival scenes, as well as a very combat-heavy addition, which introduces a plethora of new spells to the game.

I feel like I should know this already but how do I save the max amount of people from the plague 
Pretty sure you need high stats in alchemy to be able to save everyone from the plague.

its usually a combination of things, I think there is also a Noble stat check cause every time I played pragmatic char that choice would be grayed out for me. You also need to have high Alchemy or Enchantment

Great update as usual! SPOILERS: I’m personally running Arcadian char so I enjoyed all the comradery and teamwork during the fight scenes. Back in older versions, I didn’t really though much of F and Y but they really started growing on me 
. Cant wait to see Thalia in the future! Although I suspect we will have a lot to discuss with her after next update drops…

Congrats on release! Your prose is concise, yet evocative; the characters dynamic; and the world-building is such an immersive treat. I’ve been following AMR since development, and will look forward to more of your writing in the future.

Just a quick note, because I was just thinking about this in my preflight stress for my exchange semester:
When we try to flee the game automatically assumed that we are against Accardia but my MC in that playthrough is just desperate for some reprise from the world, they died for something and instead of getting to be dead some fraction just decided for them.
They are not against Accardia per se but they just want to be free from the responsibility. It did not far well for them in the past after all.
Or is everyone just assuming and the MC does not deem it necessary to correct them ?
Also I had a thought, sry if I am overstepping but I will picture something like this in my next playthrough ( an emotional destroyed MC who would win the most repressed MC of the year award for the moment

Like that encounter just wakes the MC up from a stupor.
You don’t even know what had ridden you to go to the roof instead of laying down like you always did whenever Thalia’s demands gave you a moment of reprise. Staring at the ceiling feeling empty and cold.
Always cold like the fire had burned away the warmth you held before.
Not for the first time you asked yourself if the resurrection had brought you back or just a cold and hollow shell. That you truly died then and no magic would have been able to rip you from the grasp of death. A flicker of an emotion licks to the surface as Elis face comes and goes. The only reason you play this game is for their benefit. You have to believe that it is not so for what would it mean for them.
But now you find yourself compelled to mount the stairs. To gaze upon a display of fire that likely holds no value and only negative connotation for you at the end.
The night air greets you like an old friend and you eyes scan the roof for an assessment until they catch another figure standing and drinking by themselve.
The moment you realize who sits there Infront of you is like the rolling in of the thunderstorm after the deceptive calm. Warmth floods the senses that you thought had left you. Flushing away the cold that had settled in your very being.
An unbearable awakening of memories long suppressed rooting you to the spot and if it where not for the absurdity and unlikely hood of the encounter you would have flung yourself at the young man and hugged him with the might of a sibling long thought lost.
The emotions long suppressed roll over you like a storm cloud rendering you useless and overwhelmed.
Sry for that but your writing always has me wanting pick up writing again myself

Someone already asked Parivir about this on Tumblr and I’m pretty sure he plans to release Book 2 the same way as he released Book 1
Alright, I found the original answer: “With all that being said, nothing will change with regard to how Book II’s demos & publication will be handled. I’ve said before that all of AMR will be publicly accessible at some point, though not all at the same time - and I intend to stick to that. A nonspecified amount of time from now, Book II will be completed, and in the months leading up to its release, it will remain accessible in full on dashingdon, just like Book I. I would still expect that that doesn’t negate my right to be compensated for years of hard work, though evidently opinions on the matter vary.”
