Martial Sovereign does work with Qi (with the exception of a few instances, where you’re not using an art, like regen during BH fight). That’s basically the whole point of the talent.

Does it actually because I thought it charged me qi when I used things I should have been able to use for free? It’s completely possible that I’m wrong but I’m at least 75% it charged my qi for moves that were previously considered free.

It’s not 100% of EXP (on account of spending 2 years in comma etc, or, more realistically, game balancing) but a maxed out MC will get ~2/3rd of it back.

Yeah no just did a playthrough got to use all the moves for free, it’s only story things that cost QI like hunting down the traitors in your dad’s land, and if you don’t have the qi it says the move costs it won’t allow you to select it.

At what point in the game can you even choose to be ambidextrous? I have played a few times now and don’t see that option anywhere. With that said, this time the old Master Yoshi peeping perv did give me the bag and I did check it out and got farted in for my troubles lol, does that mean that i can get him as a master still even if I never got the option to be ambidextrous? I ask this because I think I read that I need to be ambidextrous in order to have the Monkey God as a master.

In order to get accepted by the Monkey God your MC now needs to be trained in void art (learn Void Step before the expedition/time skip)
