Totally fair! It’s your book, and at this point I may be influenced by having read through the world building 4 times in as many days!
It is also a bit of comparison with your later writing though, once we get to our office and everything just flows so well, even with the backstory part. The AI background is very neat.
I’ll post more detailed discussion once I’ve had a chance to finish the WIP.

In this update, I have:
Reworked the beginning narration.
Added a personnel file for Val.
Wrote additional choices to increase romance thresholds without being so overtly flirty.
Added the first interlude and chapter 3.
Contributed to a total word count of ~105,000, an increase of about 40,000 words.
Fixed various grammar, spelling, and programming errors I noticed.
Hey, I’m loving this game so far. There are almost no typos; in fact, I haven’t found any significant ones that I’d even remember. In that sense, the story is excellent. I love that the chapters aren’t too long, so it doesn’t feel dragged out or tiring to read. It’s very interesting because whenever a chapter ends, it immediately sets up the next one, making you more and more curious and wanting to read the next chapters to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to your next updates; I’ll be there.
The skill/stat/whatever-it’s-called point distribution is broken. I didn’t know how many there were, so I finished with some leftover points, and the game asked me if I want to spend them; I said yes, at which point the “points to spend” number reset, but I had no options to actually spend the pointa (only the description and 0 were available).
It should be fixed, now! Thank you for letting me know. (:
