I dunno about romance for now, MC is quite young and there is puberty, childhood trauma and life threatening thing going on, focusing in honing ability and getting stronger and most importantly survive the ordeal.

Something has to give away… I dunno if my MC have energy for the chase I don’t really mind the advances though see how RO trying to woo MC.

Like in RPG I imagine MC run out of AP now :joy:

When the mc is female there seems to be a section where the mc’s mother’ friend calls mc (which is female) a ‘he/his’. Adding screenshot for you to be able to nail it down later on if you so desire…

I usually play both, male/female routes on these games, I got used to it and it is also a great way to look out for these kind of things, I hope it is useful and that I am not just adding more work for you.

The story is amazing.

Thank you for the heads up! I’ll correct it soon.

Thank you!

That’s fair. What I can tell you is that there will be a mix of both - some ROs will need to be actively pursued in order to build up the romance, while others will take more of the initiative themselves.

For example: Elaine will arguably require the most effort from the MC’s side, while Renna will less-than-subtly try to pursue the MC pretty early on.

Does Leona ever realize she’s technically the reason Juna died?

And the reason MC is traumatized for live.

I don’t want to spoil anything, but every secret will be revealed eventually.

Instead of traumatized I would say my MC demand closure, like wanted to know the people responsible and see justice served, I am imagining this era is not as peaceful as it seem in the beginning there is parade or something that suggests something like military struggle is common.

oh wow, just found out about this WIP. I really love the storyline so far and how MC interacts with those around him. the pacing of the story is greatly done as well, alongside the tension and suspense of the story. cant wait for the next update and the eventual meeting for the rest of the RO’s, cheers author.

@Notlev. Finaly after starting what seems like forever ago i finally finished the demo lol and i enjoyed it greatly looking forward tk seeing whst you next present us with.

There are a couple things lol and not sure if ive asked before or not cant recall at the moment as well something i encountered while playing.

1st we have numerous mentions of our grand fathers betrayal… will we ever acctually find out what exactly he did that was deemed so bad and traitorous? An tieing into it where the two divine relics were taken from the family is it posible that they might one day be restored to us?

2nd part into the newer bits havent played with all the choices surrounding it quiet yet but whats up with barnabus? I know he has some issues that we might find out about in the future but something seems offor at least my brain doesnt want to process and understand his reaction to my MC… first encounter was in the stable at the 16th party he didnt believe her when she said she was the heir and nemio scared the crap out of him lol but she said she could handle it and it seemed handled. She had remained polite with him thriugh out all that dont think i choosed a single antagnizing choice apart from correcting him that wasnt some servant girl and not tending to his horse lol

In the party when hanging out with the kids our age he shows up the exspected tension made a save around there to try out two of the choices in the one when stayed behind to speak with him this is where i encounter the issues i have with him. He gets really upset saying something along the lines about embarrassing him or the like which i find strange since no one else knows but him the mc and nemio. So much so he magically grabs us and that MC cant get free of it yet nemio who is close by doesnt react? As well there was no act beyond him moving closer that acctually says he grabbed us before that point…found it weird dince couldnt be avoided at all lol but will say i can see the future threads with him and how interactions with hin in the future can go and im looking forward to that.

3rd part through out the whole 16th birthday and everything around thr estate and with all the new people there was a lot of gender issues since was playing female but refrences and being call his alot as example… also tieing into that sorta our mother mentions a girl and strongly hints at getting to know her for matchmaking kind of way between the mc and the girl…but as heir how would this work in regards to continuing the bloodline? When both are girls and so far havent seen anything in world to support havibg same sex having kids?.. so bringing it up since it feels and looks odd? Even with events as they are it might become a non issue or might become a bigger isue msybe lol

Hmm feel like there is more to mention or ask but those are all kinds the big things at the moment after intial pass that stood out the most… defintly looking forward to the hope of a chance to cleanse the corruption in the republic and restor our familys name to its rightful place

Feel bad for general dolion something tells me he isnt going to make it through this campaign and even if he does he wont like some of what my mc will end up wanting to do if things go where i think they will.

Keep up the good work

Hey, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Without giving too much away, yes, it will be a major part of Book One, so you’ll get to find out exactly what went down.

Well…not peacefully.

Barnabas can be quite unreasonable/illogical and struggles to control himself at times. Generally, the best approach to keep him on your side is to stroke his ego a bit and avoid opposing him. While he may initially come across as hostile—reasons for which will be explored later—there is potential for a more polite and friendly relationship if you just don’t challenge him directly.

I would say that he thinks that you’ll go around telling everyone how much he embarrassed himself or fabricate some exaggerated story of it, which is why he tries to intimidate and discourage you from opposing him or speaking about what happened. Essentially, he wants to make it clear that, in his eyes, you humiliated him, and it wouldn’t be wise to challenge him further.

I hope this makes sense.

Yeah, I see what you mean; that’s an oversight, so I’ll correct it during the rewrite.

You can break out of his grasp if you have enough finesse or strength…or at least you should be able to.

Yeah, that’s just me missing pronoun variables in the text, but they’ll be corrected when I’m done with chapter 1’s rewrite.

I actually had been asked a similar question before on tumblr, so here’s the link to my answer: Mother is already playing a matchmaker. She really wanted my MC to meet Iris 😑(does she do this if MC is female 🤔 What is the... – @chains-of-destiny on Tumblr

The only thing I want to add is that, generally, in their culture, when someone from a less prominent house marries into a family of greater social standing—such as the Serins—their children are typically recognized as belonging to the more powerful house, regardless of the gender of the parents. This means that if for example Julia, were to marry a man from a lesser house, their children would still be considered Serins, rather than belonging to the father’s lineage - though of course if both families agree than this can be changed.

Feel free to ask any questions you have, I’ll try to answer them to the best of my ability.

Thanks for your support!

Basically a spoiled child…

What if MC is firm and won’t tolerate such treatment?

You can absolutely do that and put him in his place if you want; you’re not forced to submit to him. But I think it’s safe to say that Barnabas is not going to like you very much. However, if you don’t belittle him and respect his opinions, there is still an option to keep him on your side even if your MC is more assertive.

However, I won’t force your MC or Barnabas to like each other, so if you prefer, you can just be enemies.

Hm. I don’t really care about his friendship or romance. I don’t like that type of personality.

I just wouldn’t want him to immediately run to our enemies and work to our disadvantage because he felt offended that MC doesn’t stroke his ego.

It won’t automatically mean he’ll run to your enemies. According to my current plans, you can keep him relatively neutral as long as you avoid openly belittling or humiliating Barnabas.
