I’m trying to upload a funny video involving Charlie to the funny thread and I cannot upload it. Why is this the case?

It’s said videos are not authorized. I guess there’s that.
You can try uploading it to your youtube channel and then sharing its link instead.
Links to videos are fine (such as YouTube), but keep in mind that uploading a video directly to the forum would mean that the forum has to store (host) and deliver that video.
Whereas text and emojis are kilobytes in size and an image a megabyte or two at most, videos can run from hundreds of MB all the way into multiple gigabytes in size. Storing thousands of videos would be incredibly expensive for a very lightweight website such as this forum.
