Fair warning I’m not much of a writer but I like to think I’m creative. I hope you enjoy this story!
Summary
In the aftermath of a major war, the State military intervened to restore order and stabilize a crumbling government. The people initially welcomed the stability. However, not long after a new power rose through the ranks and seized control. The once stabilizing military transformed into a tyrannical regime set on capturing and experimenting on the elemental beasts that roam the world. These experiments resulted in hybrid creatures imbued with immense power and a seemingly untamable nature. The State uses these beasts to further control the populace.
Out of this oppression the Rebellion was formed.
You are an agent of the Rebellion, one of many working to overthrow the State. Upon discovery of these hybrid creatures, you and a small group of agents are tasked with stopping them.
Your mission: Expose the State’s lies and manipulation and form a bond with these powerful creatures turning them against your enemies or if they prove to be untamable destroy them.
Characters
The Rebellion
- Lead Agent- Mara Kendricks
A demolitions specialist for the rebellion with cream-colored skin covered in freckles, short curly red hair, blue eyes, and a slim but curvy body. Mara is every bit as deadly as her explosives. She is quick-witted and resourceful, using her intelligence to outsmart her opponents. Mara’s confidence has a positive impact on everyone the room. With old pants and well-worn boots, Mara appears and performs like a seasoned agent. - Agent- Shana Therin
A cunning and elusive subterfuge agent, with dark brown eyes, rich mahogany skin, and long, curly dark brown hair she usually wears tied back in a curly puff. The lean, muscular frame she possesses speaks to years spent honing skills in infiltration. A crucial asset to the Rebellion, Shana is often the cornerstone for perilous and intricate missions. Since childhood, you both have been inseparable, raised in the coastal town of Baystone. The brutal attack by the State on your hometown was the catalyst that pushed both of you to enlist in the Rebellion, determined to bring justice to those who had wronged you. Shana’s family had been taken from her in the attack, leaving her slow to trust others and ever vigilant of her surroundings. - Lead Agent- Carl Williams
A weapons specialist and a hulk of a man with a shaved head, hazel eyes, and a muscular build. The muscles on his chest and arms are well defined and his skin is a golden color. He has been in the Rebellion for years, using his knowledge of weapons, tactics, and strategy to arm and equip them for battle. Carl is resolute and understands that the only way for the rebellion to succeed was if they are better armed than the governmental hierarchy. - Senior Medical Support Staff- Dr. L. Huntington
Huntington has medium-length brown hair that frames freckled cheeks, a thin scar cutting across their brow. When they speak their voice is soft, but firm with resolve. - Lead Beast Taming Support Specialist- Josienne “Jane” Grey-Malraux
A lead beast tamer, Jane is a skilled handler with an affinity for beasts. She has long, blonde hair and a petite frame, olive skin, and grey eyes. She works closely with beasts to understand their nature and abilities, ensuring their proper treatment and care. Her skills and knowledge are indispensable to the rebellion.
State Military
- The High Commander of State Defense
The High Commander of the nation’s military forces. They have gray hair along with green eyes that look like a pair of daggers. They are both charismatic and cunning, using their diplomatic skills and political savvy to manipulate others for their benefit. They desire power and control over both the nation and its people without compromise. They count on their callousness and deceptiveness to dominate any situation and intimidate those around them. - Lieutenant Commander Reynolds
Second-in-Command to the High Commander of State Defense. The Lieutenant Commander has numerous names that strike fear, but chief amongst them is “The Baystone Butcher”. The title given to him following the annihilation of a quaint coastal town known as Baystone. The community had been accused of harboring rebels, and when they refused to surrender them, the State’s fierce beast legion came down upon them like a raging storm. Few survived the massacre. - The Defecting Soldier or Captured Prisoner
Whatever the reason a state soldier has joined the Rebellion.
