Chapter Seven of the game was just completed and released for patreon supporters. In this 49K word scene, you will fight a battle of unprecedented scope, facing the Republic’s might on top of the Great Wall. Your strategic acumen will be tested as you command your army, and the sovereigns skills will be tested against enemy champions.
The chapter will release for general public mid July, on the same day the battle is taking place in-universe. Because I thought it would be clever.

I think I wanted to write “if you had to guess” but got interrupted and forgot to finish the sentence. In any case, it’s nothing important.

I don’t like spending much time on features that will not be present in the final version of the game, but I might do that if I ever find myself with nothing better to add.

BTW as non native english speaker, I didn’t know “every other” means half in logic, I was only able to find out by seeing the answer before hand in the code
I think the word “chipped” is correct here. Shipped refers to transporting something, chipped means something is damaged and missing bits.

For one, the way this was phrased makes it sound like a math question. 
Secondly, I personally would have shortened it to “A number of plates was purchased for the upcoming elector banquet. With the exception of two, everything else came damaged. How many plates were even purchased in the first place?” It’s less confusing and repetitive IMO.
It’s phrased like a math question because it is a math question. It comes from a scene where the player is given a math problem and told to solve it. Rephrasing it to be less “repetitive” just makes the puzzle unsolvable.
Ah, I wasn’t aware of the context. Then it makes sense the way it is now.
If there ever is a sequel it have to be as Perun’s champion route and Perun asking the MC to conquer the whole Republic as the price for their help, Judith seems to think so at least.
I don’t write straight-up sequels, largely to avoid picking a canon route. The very concept of canon choices in interactive fiction feels weird, and I avoid it whenever possible.
I also don’t think my extended universe would benefit from the Republic dying to a single demigod.
Retreat Update. Two new mini-chapters were added to the game, allowing you to either chase the enemy army as they seek shelter from your wrath, or fight your way through the Lower City as the enemy takes control. Combined, these scenes add 28K words to the game, though which of them you’ll play depends on the choices made earlier in your playthrough.
The next chapter will be a long one, and I doubt I’ll get it finished in August. Still, stay tuned if you’re interested in side content, since I’ll definitely be making another Patreon bonus.

To anyone who wants to be overpowered, literally just get Priesthood relationship as high as possible, you can tax them a lot, you can be just a touch under God-King, and the Priesthood can basically cancel out 2 other factions (e.g if you’re hated by Underclass and Republic, the Priesthood gives you enough benefits for you ignore the Underclass and Republic)
As I said, no update for August. I am making steady progress on Chapter Eight, and I have some new stuff on my Patreon, but I still have a long way to go before posting a full-on update. Branching is one cloud of a drug.

You already can, in a manner of speaking. There just aren’t any romance scenes yet, but I plan on including a few interactions in the upcoming chapter.

I plan to make her my main love interest above them all if i can just pick one, as you can see, i really love dragons lol.
