It was mentioned that Rin also knew the MC when they were children. That’s why her relationship with Ash is at a good level and why she’s so used to her personality. The game just didn’t have us experience that part of our childhood since it skipped some of that stuff. Ash only feel like the best friend character cause not only are they with our MC most of the time but they even live together too.

Main reason I didn’t go with a Rin romance is because it seems like it’s more or less expected by the two families and I play my mc as someone who bucks against that expected role if you will plus Ash is just more interesting to me so take that as you will lol.

I mean knowing someone from your childhood doesn’t make them best friends. The MC themselves doesn’t even think of them like that, doesn’t mean they’re not your friend though.
They feel like that because they are your best friend. MC has a very obvious closer relationship with Ash and Rin is your friend (or nothing to you in the case of my playthrough cause I don’t care for them). Rin not being your best friend doesn’t make them less important man.

I love how mc reminisce about past memories that they had with Ash, to the point where I hope we get some type of reminiscing memories like that about Rin.

And have since we were children, which is why I can’t get behind a romantic relationship with A but can with R. It feels too consanguinous with A, like you’d be in a romance with a sibling.

Quickly catching up to Rin, the two of you walk side by side and Rin sends you a quizzical look.
She stops and you skid to a halt too. Before you can register what’s happening, she reaches over to take your hand in hers gently and comfortingly. “Of course,” she says, keeping her voice a bit low so as not to bring the attention of both your uncle and Takashi. “I meant it when I said that you’re one of the few people I really care about, and I’d really love to be directly involved to make sure you’re not foolishly risking your life out there.” She then lets go of your hand before walking away as if nothing just happened.
*tinfoil hat on* I bet its her that murdered Aunt Cara
“What? You want me to harm a little child?” you can’t help but snarl at her. “I’m not a monster like they are.”
“But yet, you have no problem orphaning the very same girl?” She barks out a bitter and disbelieving laugh, setting the glass down. “I don’t know, but that sounds monstrous enough to me, despite your attempt to set up some arbitraty lines. And yes, I know that means I am a monster as well and I’m not denying it because I’m not a hypocrite; I’ve fully accepted that fact a long time ago.”
You bristle at her words, but still try to keep your cool. This is not exactly the first time you’ve had this talk. “You did it out of necessity or else we wouldn’t even be standing here talking.”
“It doesn’t change the fact that I’m guilty!” She throws her hands up in frustration. "I can’t believe you talked me into it. But as you said, I did it out of necessity, to preserve our plan and vision. […]

I just realized this. Since the MC can use Gravikinesis. It made me think of Lance from Mashle.
It kinda reminded me of how awesome Gravity powers can be if your MC uses it right.
And then you got shadow powers in the mix…

I think it would be really cool if the name of MC’s strongest and most destructive attack was black hole (since black hole literally has such a high amount of gravity that it can swallow light)

If it was possible. My ultimate for melee gravity would involves using gravity to propel myself super high in the sky, covering myself in gravity armor that protects me and increases my own gravity while falling so I would be akin to a meteor. And the ranged ultimate would have me breaking apart the Earth using gravity to do an earthquake and then basically doing Pain’s planetary devastation and dropping it on my enemies while increasing it’s gravity and summoning a meteor right on top of it. And also using gravity to lock them in place while that happens. The melee ultimate would be called “Gravinuke” and the ranged ultimate would be called “Gravistation” (a play on the word Devastation).
For the shadow powers. Melee would have me transform into either a giant shadow wolf or a shadow werewolf while summoning a pack of hellhounds in similar forms with shadow armors and enhanced claws and sizes. And would have me linked to them using a mental pack network. Ranged would be summoning a black sun big enough to blot out the current sun similar to a solar eclipse but where everything is much darker as compared to it instead and starts summoning giant tentacles, demonic and eldritch shadow creatures and debuffing every enemies with fear, insanity and confusion. Melee ultimate would be named “Ragnarok” and Ranged would be “Black Hell”.
Now that I think about it. “Black Hell” sounds really scary to experience. I still like it though.

A “chai tea” in the west (At least where I live) is basically a spicy blend of tea. Often with Cinnamon or such.
Another example of badly translated shit to sell something as “exotic”. Thank the marketing teams.

Yeah, but here in the west (and maybe other places) specifically use it to refer to masala chai, I assume because we just shortened it for slang. I saw and Indian TikToker years ago, can’t remember who, who mentioned (in relation to a similar case where we call bread "Naan Bread’ meaning “bread bread”) that India also does this. Pav naan is called that because it’s derived from Portuguese bread, and “pav” comes from “pão”, which is Portuguese for bread. I think that’s how it goes anyhow. The “pan” in melonpan, the Japanese roll, is from the same word. People just instinctively use foreign words for certain things to describe variants of that thing from that region.
