The cover image is attractive and the concept sounds interesting, but I’m a bit confused by the people who seem to have rated it without there being a game up. Edit: Thinking about it, I guess it’s like wishlisting something on Steam that’s yet to come out. Best of luck to the author!

Aaand here we go again with the angsty Tumblr games 
I’ll give a try on this one because it’s the same author from Crown of Exile, which is a good game. I hope isn’t just over the top mc-hating.
I think it’s strange having ratings before the game is out. In Itch we can add the game to a collection - that is the equivalent of wishlisting, I guess. But maybe the game is already out on Patreon and her patrons are rating?
Anyway, I’ll leave here two- oops three of my favorite Twine WIPs:
This has MCs traits and personality kind of pre established. It’s a little contradictory, but my favorite RO in this game is the guy who hates my MC.
This one is a supernatural game with a road trip and I really like Sameer - he is lovely.
I posted Fool Me Once in the Otome games thread, but it’s interactive fiction. This WIP is so good, it’s from the same author as Perfumare.

My guess is that the people that already rated the game read the jam entry ‘witch blood’. This story is a continuation of that 500 word story. Rating a story purely for wishlisting seams unlikely considering that you can just add it to your collection.

Yep. I clicked on the link, saw that all the ROs hate the MC and closed the tab. No thanks. I’m already playing one series where two ROs shit in my MCs’ faces. I have no need of another.
I added Fellow Traveler to my demos to try list (Fool Me Once was already there). Sameer sounds awesome!

it annoys me so much that lately I’ve started avoiding games where there’s more than one RO who doesn’t like mc.

Good for you! That’s what I’m doing as well.
I’m also avoiding games that use the word “angst” in their description or in discussion of them, since I’ve learned that–to most–the word “angst” refers to bullshit forced drama between characters who like stupid tweeners.

As someone who hasn’t played Undertale, and isn’t interested in doing so, it can be a little frustrating how many of these games turn out to be Undertale AU fan-games.
