It’s kinda part of the charm IMO, removing that divergent esc young adult, post apocalypse vibe would make it an entirely different story.
I Also feel like the weight of being 3 times more likely to be born a billionaire than becoming one of the 1000 kinda puts a nice thematic heft to each character, like everyone you meet is in the final 0,00000125% of all of humanity so everyone kinda matters… Except when background characters randomly die…
Actually that’s my one complaint so far. If there s 1000 human beings left the universe can we dial it back on the background character deaths or make it a big deal when 0.5% of all remaining people are killed in a flesh eating Storm?
Actually your kind of right there, I’m trying my best to minimise deaths of background characters, but let’s be real, if this situation was to occur in reality a lot of people are going to die, if the world doesn’t get you a good knife in the back from your fellow survivor will.
Remember that these are teens that are just trying to survive in a strange world they woke up in, and this whole cast of teens are random people from across the globe, so both people with mental disorders and psycho tendencies are around, it’ll be pretty difficult to not have quite the number of people die, but like I said I’ll still try my best to minimise death.
I would narrow it down to a specific thing and maybe have a time limit in place to balance it. I can see it being handy in stealth tactics, scouting and faster exploration. I just prefer not to pressure the author with more powers since writing all those paths would tiresome.
Sorry for the long wait for an update, I had issues with my system, but it’s been fixed now. I just posted a little update of 55k words on my patreon, this update is mainly concentrated on the Divine Arsenal, with little added text and options for other routes, like pocket dimension, and corrections…

I agree with the other person. U updated it fast compared to other authors. Besides I don’t really care how regularly it gets worked on because I prefer high quality wips instead of ones that have been rushed carelessly. Thanks for the update.
on why our powers are so strong compared to others even those with the same power like how we have near instantaneous regen or how we have all the elements in the elemental power or how we just straight up have never seen before powers. I think it’s because we spent two years and five months “sleeping” compared to people who woke up at the two year mark after the calamity so our body spent those extra five months just manifesting power.
I don’t know if you’ve already answered this but I want to know how violent the game will be? I’m not saying this from a perspective that I want the game to be a bed of roses or a perspective that I want the game to be a gore festival, I just want to know
I love your theory, but a little correction, almost everyone slept (was in a coma) at least two years, you on the other hand slept two years and five months.
As for why your powers are on a different level you’ll find out later in the game, but just a little spoiler, You should really be on guard, their are still people with higher and (or) equal levels of mutation with MC on earth
Well it wouldn’t be a gore fest and it wouldn’t be so pretty either, but if the gore scale was from 1 to 10, it’ll be a 7.
I have a question so when the mc or anyone else becomes 18 will they die like everyone else when the disaster happened or will they survive now since their body evolved to survive this new world?
This is correct, after the initial mutation ended, it was no longer dangerous to age above 18, that’s why the oldest age you could find in the world currently is 20yrs.
So… there are just random toddlers and little kids without any parents, right? Because we all slept for 2 years, and all the adults died. So there are definitely little kids who are struggling to comprehend how the heck they aged so quickly. And now the late teens and 20 year olds need to figure out how to take care of them while dealing with the apocalypse. And the little kids will have powers too, unless it’s a weird puberty thing that the characters have all already gone through. So these temper tantrums will be bad! I’m curious how this new society run by teens will deal with child care and education
There are actually a lot of toddlers and even few babies that survived, and there are also quite a few in your group, you’ll see how the group deals with them.
