The Sword of Rhivenia (Remake) (DEMO UPDATED 27/04)

Befriending pirates is definitely risky but the rewards outweigh the consequences, you can either be like Richard and try to gain admiration with the Rhivenians through small gifts and speeches (mind you these are the same people who didn’t even know you existed and dotted on Richard) or throw it all away, ally with the pirates, thieves and the witches, and embrace yourself as the shadow from the past that the prophecy foretolds **Diabolical Laughter**

Which reminds me to ask :backhand_index_pointing_right::backhand_index_pointing_left: will one of the witches be an RO?

I really hope if the witches try their voodoo magic against us we can resist the mind control which they probably did to the old kings and queens before being killed. I would rather not have another game forcing possession on my MC.

It does beg the question of how a Pirate Captain is one of our RO options. Like, how are we supposed to work that with our country men’s extreme hatred.

How could we do that if the kings and queens of old couldn’t?

Willpower, or just straight up power (there is a Powers thing on our status, we just don’t have one, maybe we’ll be able to gain one later) or enchanted items with resistance/immunity to mental alterations/control/hindrances/corruption or we could get a witch on our side that’d protect us depending on our choices.

So, I’ve been rereading the original SoR and comparing it to the remake, and the romance options have changed A LOT (which is understandable). My curiosity got the better of me, especially since I haven’t checked out the latest update and have no idea who’s been added.

SOOOOO i got me a question for you

Who’s your favorite romance in the remake so far? And why?

For me, it’s Revna. I love how she’s mischievous, a bit cocky, and so confident, AND she’s got the skills to back it up. I also love that she’s still a bit of a flirt. Though, I feel like she’s become more lustful (which I don’t mind, lmao), but it just doesn’t seem to fit her vibe. That’s just my opinion, though. I still love her regardless.

In the old SoR, it’s definitely Astryn

Enemies to lovers, HELL YEAAAA! Plus, as a bonus, we can punch Sir Locke in her route if I remember correctly.

I was looking at the code, and I saw options for beard and hair that never appear in the game. Is this a bug or not implemented yet?

Let me romance Erwan please, I can fix him I swear :face_savoring_food:

If the aristocracy of Revina and its neighbor nations are similar to real life medieval Europe, then most love interest in the game are going to be some distant relation to the MC. Be it far enough to be not noticeable but probably not to many branches apart on some family trees. Especially when the royalty takes multiple lovers and probably has multiple “Non-named heirs”.
