The new version of this game make the moral more little bit easy to recognize the black and white different from the old version with more ambiguity. So don’t worry to voice your opinion and in fact the author i think love when people passionate about the book they write

I am firmly in the pro Freya camp because she a sweet girl who just wants to fall in love and paint.
I believe the reason for this is because Freya sees that unlike her the MC actually has what it takes to rule.

Is that more then 2 brain cells that the MC can rub together in order to make a coherent thought, something along the lines of “Hmm, if I drug the motherfucking guards with sedatives and they go to sleep, my whole family is put under danger?”
In that case, the standards are incredibly low.

ok I have no problem with what she likes and desire but at least she could have some common sense for a moment like can’t she think for a second about what will happen if she drugged the guards or can’t she picks up any useful skills from her teachers even if she doesn’t want the throne It is the height of stupidity to throw away this type of education what she is doing isn’t defiance but something she is going to regret either very soon or when she is old

I was thinking more in the lines of she can’t make tough decisions.
Freya drugging the guards wasn’t her lacking sense in general but being blinded by love. Besides as far as we know Freya has only drugged the guards once.
I imagine Freya has gained a few skills from her royal education, it just that those skills are painting, writing, dancing and so on.
She lacks the aptitude for things like fighting, politics and strategy.

I think there is far more useful skills then just that for example politics and economic and that just two that I thought of immediately now as for drugging the guards we don’t know if it’s one time or she did it before and most likely she did it before because she just couldn’t have fallen in love in just one meeting I could say maybe she did fall in love when they meet each other when she was visiting the town undercover but from what we had seen so far I could say she had meetings with him a lot of times because it’s impossible for that guy to reveal he is a pirate in just one meeting anyway sorry I rumbled a bit but in conclusion I’m pretty sure this Castle doesn’t have just one exit so it’s good to use her head and go through a servant exit

I did mention politics and when I said strategy I wasn’t just talking about war, like I would classify the meeting where the MC and everyone deciding whether or not to release Xavier to his sister as strategy. I should been more clear on that.
But the ultimate point I’m trying make is that freya isn’t suited to be either a ruler or an advisor. She someone you go to when you need someone to listen to you about your personal problems.

Ok I got what your saying that she is just a big sweet heart but she is a big useless and stupid sweet heart because let’s be realistic for a second she doesn’t like politics nor fighting so I have a question what does she have against economic or trading she could become a trading advisor or economic advisor if she focused on her education but currently she doesn’t have any useful skills and just sitting around doing nothing or actively making things worse for the MC so she is just a big baby that you have hold to her hand

Freya has actually tried, she was literally train to use a sword as a child and she sucked at it.
Doing nothing and potentially endangering people because you have a head full of flowers is delusional. Just because she sucks at sword fighting doesn’t mean she can’t do anything at all. The fact of the matter remains that she refuses to try and throws a tantrum when she’s expected to behave like a royal she is and not a freeloader.
She whines about how weak she is but never tries to help herself and is dependent on her younger sibling to do that work for her.
If she had actively tried and found her own niche, I would be able to excuse her behaviour (outside the whole drugging the guards thing) but she doesn’t try. Yet, she expects everybody to understand and take care of her like she’s a child. That’s just delusional.

trading/economics would bore Freya to tears.
I think Freya would be best suited for as a sort of informal diplomat. Say some ruler or influential person was for reason mad at the MC but Freya happens to be their friend, so the MC send her to help smooth things over.
I feel I must add that Freya isn’t stupid after all you need some intelligence to drug a bunch of guards.

In any other universe or IF Rhivenia would be the evil empire a good guy mc would be fighting against to be honest the entire country and even that snake loving country are literal psychopaths at best. not hating on the IF mind you just saying I agree with the Rhivenia is full of crazies slander.

Look you are trying to show me that Freya could be useful and good but believe me the current Freya isn’t useful nor good but in fact she is making everything worse for the MC the only way for her to change is if the story give her a reality check so she could start focus on her education and start being useful

Freya legit should have gotten punished properly for the guard drugging incident because that legit risked some angry commoners or an assassin walking in and killing the royal family all so she could visit her pirate lover. Freya’s brand of entitlement and selfishness is arguably more dangerous than Atheris and Richard, I suspect that she doesn’t really care about the commoners or her lover and is just using him as an escape from her life as a pampered royal.

I don’t think she will change by a punishment way I think we have to make a false scene as a consequences of her actions like when she try to drug the guards again she will come back and the next morning the MC has been “kidnapped” because the guards are drugged

Neither of those are true. Freya actually tires to take care of other people, like helping Clara with her personal growth or if the MC shows stress when they find out Nicholas’s brother has called off the marriage alliance Freya comforts her younger sibling.
she doesn’t impose her problems on anyone at least not intentionally nor does she expect anything from anyone, and she certainly isn’t dependent on her younger sibling just look at Freya arguments with Nicholas and atheis for example she doesn’t seek or expect the MC help in either of those.
