Oh i am fully expecting that , what i meant was is there a way to get a decent (not dying , still winning the war) inspite of not allying with her.
By still having Xavier as your prisoner and not letting your conscience freeing him, if Lena tries anything the ruler will have legitimate cassus belli and can retaliate by sending piece of xavier one by one

Wait we can forreal do that ingame? 
Since Xavier can be romance I bet we can use him to claim his old kingdom from his sister if she broke her alliance with us.
In fact this and up happend to my MC the last time they romance him and set him free, after his sister broke her alliance he and up go back to our kingdom with him saying his sister try to stop him but he left anyway which make him now her enemy.
I wonder how romance him and not setiing him free will change it

I think the best outcome for the Xavier situation will be by keeping him as a prisoner and being super nice to him/treating him with kindness so you can lie to him and tell him you need him there to hold the political situation better without losing any affection with him. This way you have a card over Lena no matter what she decides to do and doesn’t fuck up the relationship too much with the other part since you can simply murder her and put a very thankful Xavier in her place.

That’s one hell of a wait better than knowing nothing I give you that but damn do they really have that many games on store that spacing the release so much was their first option?
Giving it is not a definitive release date if we are lucky it is moved a month earlier or May even.
