The requirement is not 67, you have to get 70 or above to be chosen

MC also need to assert authority in some occasion , what i know was , when i clearly state the Hunt is only for Royal members and Clara couldn’t join, agree with our father what he did was necessary , then remind Lord Daemir to properly talk to a prince, plus don’t help Jaerean too much in the bar will boast my leadership ratings to roughly 77. Then when i agree with Astryn that our father did unjust decision, the leadership drop a bit if not mistaken , but still good enough to be chosen by the sword

For this, i disagree . Based on observation where my MC visit the common folk’s place, they stated that they prefer a ruler who is kind and won’t “starve” them, they believe our sister will pull us into poverty but Richard won’t . Hence, it is more about making decision that will benefit the people , and about the engaging “enemy” , thus far the war has not started , there is no reason for the people to hate the so called “enemy” to the extreme, unless later if the “enemy” does horrible thing to the population of Rhivenia . If the people believe a potential marriage with Astryn could solve the current war , they should be happy since a prolong war could result in poverty and hunger.

Unless the public demo requirement is outdated, It’s still 67.

Summary

*if((Leadership > 66))
*set mc_title “King of Three Kingdoms, Owner of the Sword, Protector of Realm, Guardian of the North”

When everyone’s talking about marriage and romance post-being chosen as Ruler is that just stuff being planned to happen or is the demo meant to currently include that? Demo always stops at the ruling ceremony for me regardless of if it’s Patreon or DashingDon but I keep seeing people talk about seemingly post-sword segments as if they’ve played them? Same with certain characters and routes I’ve just never encountered + all the marriage talk in this thread. Just wondering what I’ve missed as I’m assuming this is a me issue rather than a demo thing.

Did you say you want the throne when prompted?

That’s weird the full game works on Patreon for me maybe you’re using a tier that doesn’t have it?

I believe it dropped below 66 at the very end because as @eric_knight pointed out, I talked to Astryn and agreed with her, well, guess I’ll just have to wait and take it by force

really?

Admittedly that might be just for the patreon version, but I definitely had over 67 but I didn’t get the throne, but when I had 72 I got it.

Which is weird if Richard was the one been choose by the sword and the ending on patreon shown the kingdom wanted to replace him which happend with both the MC and there oldest sister.
I guss getting half the kingdom poision and killed did not help

Glad to know people will want to rebel regardless of who is chosen by the Sword, I thought I was too soft, or that people wouldn’t rebel with your siblings. Equality : P

great, well when it comes out I’ll have to see if I can get to 70 by being kind. Because I played it and just barely got to 68. Mostly because the two people I’m romancing drop leadership to help them. If that happens then I am not gonna play the game honestly. Why buy it if I can’t play the way I want to play? And have to sacrifice things I would like?

I actually managed to be kind and still become king. How far have you gotten in the game because I can tell you a moment that heavily increases your leadership.

I’ve finished it when it was still 68.

Edit: but this would be good advice for when it comes out so I can make sure to do that.

okay so when you visit the Everans (don’t know if that’s right) have the reason that you want to visit basically just be for political reasons, and when your talking to Astrid tell her that you’ll think you’ll be the best, and the last one is when your talking to Revna after your dads death and she asks how you just say I need to stay strong for my people. That should do it.

Honestly that would probably make sense with the first one The political reasons with Everans My MC and him have a terrible relationship. They do not get along. Mostly because he likes his sister more than him. As a friend, of course. My MC is gay as hell.

Curious… If you played the Patreon demo how was your ending in the epilogue?

For me I had a merchant wanting to rebel and others saying how they support me. I saw in the code that there are 3 endings; badend, goodend, and perfectend. I assume mine is the good end but I’m curious as to if it is or not. Say, the perfect end being no one wants to rebel…

Was yours saying how a rebellion was gonna happen but some or most of them supported you but the merchant got enough people to actually start a rebellion. If yes then we got the same

that’s basically what I chose but since my mc is a nice level headed person my leadership keeps dropping like crazy, I wish there was a way for us nice people to still get the throne but oh well :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
