Not trying to go in circles but, do they ever actually call him the first born? Cause Richard doesn’t really have a headstart since we’re told him, Atheris and Daemir are the same age.

I could definitely be wrong since its been forever since I played the demo 
but, I thought the king had two wives because the first one was poisoned in someway by the second and unable to have more kids. He already had Richard but couldnt have more so he got a second wife for more heirs.

Correction:
I had the details on the age wrong. As Richard says in the demo:
“Lord Daemir is the same age as me and Atheris,” Richard points out. “I wouldn’t call him young and inexperienced.”
When I played it long ago, for some reason it stuck that Isabelle was first, Alvena was married for political reasons, and that Isabelle had an heir first.
Still, this would give both Richard and Atheris a lead in training on the player, if they took advantage of it. I could also see Richard being given ‘better’ training as it were by his father…if his father hadn’t been preoccupied with matters of the kingdom. Richard to his own detriment was more interested in being the party animal.

They’re spoiled medieval royals with f**ed up parents. Freya too, though relatively harmless, will be a major headache in the future with her being enamored by a scurvy ridden pirate and general naivety, lol.
