I read this just yesterday and OH BOY. I had an incredible time, and I am SO looking forward to more, I cannot wait.
So, firstly, I am very glad that your writing style fits so well into the world/the time period. Like, it sounds authentic, and I appreciate that so so much because as an avid reader, I’ve encountered a lot of writing styles that really don’t align with the chosen setting. I hope all that makes sense; you write beautifully and I was immersed all throughout.
I really love the different characters so much. I was shocked by just how much I enjoyed our Lucy, she/her relationship with Wilhelmina reminds me of Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu. In the best way. I just finished that book the other day and was craving more, so now this is another reason why I can’t wait for your next update. However, I also really enjoyed the encounter with Dracula, the brief glimpses at their hidden monstrous side, and this weird, threatening gallantry they displayed towards Wilhelmina. It’s just so… magnetic??? Lol I’m usually not a dark/villain romance girly but I’m hooked. Also, I liked what we’ve seen of Jonathan so far, he’s got a sweet and familiar feel to him, and I’ll be happy when he returns and we get to spend more time with him. Also, I can’t wait for Van Helsing to appear; I always thought he (next to Wilhelmina) was the coolest character of the original Dracula.
So yeah I am SO happy to have found an IF where I can play as Mina of all people, she’s my favorite and I love her.

Great to see more historical IFs. I loved the demo, especially the demonic cat and Lucy’s ““friendly”” kiss scene. Looking forward to Chapter 3!

With losing chapter 3 and also the thread here being kinda dead after the update, I was a bit sad but not anymore!

Omg, I love your IF so much too!! So waking up to my two best IF writers just made my day! The kiss was so cute to write and the kitty’s scenes were the most funny to do! More kitty scenes incoming ofc hehe
Now to go work on chapter 3 while I’m still feeling like this!

Finally got around to read and let me tell you, the writing is as delicious as ever, Lucy just as delightful! Man, I admit I find myself very curious about Van Helsing, so I can’t wait to meet them!
PS: I’m going to win over the kitty even if it is the last thing I do! You hear me, kitty? This isn’t over!

Is this the same story Wilhelmina from 2019? If so, glad to see it’s back! It had so much potential.
Gonna have to change that because I have a question about the lore of the land! Since Femcula is Carmilla, does that mean the events of her book also happened or has she always been in Transylvania since she’s almost definitely Vlad the Impaler?
Also that fat black cat… love ‘em! Reminds me of Frou-Frou from Scarlet Hollow, the rotten little shit.
Side note: Still not letting anything happen to Lucy and Jonathan, though. I’m properly endeared with all of these characters.

So, the reason for the name is that my dummy head couldn’t think of a cool name for fem Dracula lol, so it was just more as a name change.
She still very much Vlad the Impaler.
Should I write a Carmilla’s story after this game, she will be much different! I think I do have a small old demo around for when I was thinking of ideas to write but in the end stuck to Dracula!
Hehe, I love writing the kitty! There may be a chance for him to warm up to you.

Hey, it’s impressive either way. Dude was hardcore as hell, so a genderbent version who brutalized the Ottomans, died, came back as a vampire and collected a harem of wives while being a woman in ancient times adds another layer of badassery.
Yeah, can’t wait for Mina and Laura to trauma bond over their vampiric love interests gaslighting and gatekeeping tf outta them xD

I loved the Lost Bride the first time I tried it ages ago. I loved it when I rediscovered it on COGdemos.
The characters are -so- well written, and though he’s quite spicy. I LOVE Lord William 
(anyone and anything that makes Lucy happy has my approval). ..I want to try make friends with him, I love him too much, to give up on him
And Lucy? …
I can’t wait for this story to continue onwards, as I -loved- every interaction I had with her. (Even Lucy’s mother, made my heart ache a little, the “I know you love her..but, you’re hurting her dialogue). I love when characters have -understandable- motivations, -human- flaws. While she does push Lucy towards marriage, fearing for the family’s legacy, I liked that exchange with her. You -get- that her motivation doesn’t come from ill will towards her daughter.
Also, love the fact that the game -does- make efforts to describe the setting. Victorian era Britain.
Society has changed quite a bit since then, but I get the feel “The Lost Bride” describes a Britain of how things were.
The only thing about this wonderful game that makes me -sad-, is that there isn’t more to it yet.
Had I been able, I’d easily spend 12 hours straight reading and enjoying the wonderful story we’ve been given so far.
10/10 stars from me

Personally I’m happy about the genderlock. I was actively looking for stories with it because I feel like usually that’s the only way you get proper WLW content. And so far this story definitely pulls it off well with Lucy.

A lot smaller of an update, cuz I had to move 15k of the suiters’ games with Lucy to after the ball, since it didn’t fit well before it.
Not to worry, as the whole of part 2 will be out in around 1 week to 2 weeks. Most of it is already done but it just needs editing. (I do recommend waiting if you could)

Love itttttt, I need more Lucy adorableness (albeit it’s kinda suprising that an MC that is in love with her doesn’t react more (at least internally) when she talks about getting married and kissing men (especially when she mentions it right after us sharing our first kiss together.))
I feel so bad for J though, he’s fighting for his life to come back to us after apparently getting SAd (haven’t gotten the patreon early access myself so idk the details of what happened) and my PC is lesbian af, flirting with, being horny with and making out with my best friend.
Actually now that I think about it will we have the option to have a bearded marriage with J as an alternative to the extremes of marrying him or rejecting him if we only like him platonically? (And perhaps have the option to organise a similar arrangement for L so we can be together without any suspicion?)
Btw I saw on your Tumblr that D would be chill with us keeping L as our lover/wife (even if it’s in the idea that she’s just our pet) as long as we stay with D as her/his wife, will that be implemented or was that just an explanation of D’s personality and mindset? (Woo-hoo to sapphic poly if so.)
