Hey guys, what’s the current end of the demo?
Where your aunt Levianna and your MCs armies meet in the battlefield (but don’t fight yet)and you find out that the angels are controlling her in some way.

December 19 Update
It’s good to see that this thread is not locked. I was expecting that since I haven’t posted in a while and I’m not sure if editing the post on top is considered “posting”.
I’m not sure when was the last time and which part of the story I made a progress update of, so I’m just going to list down the ones that came after the public demo. The ones that are more important, at least. Do know that I’ve already posted this part in Tumblr, so if you have seen the post over there, know that it’s just the same things.
- The Guardian companions have been introduced. But you may have already assumed that considering the introductory shorts I’ve posted about them.
- More secondary characters are introduced, like several at once and consecutively.
- Several important choices were integrated that will have minor to significant effects to the MC’s world. I liken them to the difference brought about by the results of the gladiatorial match.
- The game now has a realm management element. Sort of. Nothing complicated, nothing involving numbers. Just typical choices and stuff.
- A scene outside of the Northlands was squeezed in between one of the chapters. It’s not from Heaven, or Hell, or any other place the readers have been taken to in the public demo. It’s somewhere new.
- There is now a choice that could lead to the very first “bad” ending.
- The romance system has been changed. In what way? I’ll keep quiet about that for now. To make up for it, however, I’ll say that the very first scene that will initiate the "route” of one of the ROs has already been written and in the alpha.
- The first book’s main villain has entered the fray.
- No Way Home won’t be out in my country until January 8.
Okay. You can ignore the last part. I just needed to get it off my chest.
There will be three more chapters until we get to the big final chapter AND the epilogue/s. If all goes well, and hopefully it does, I can get the writing done by mid 2022.
But for 2021, I’m going to end the alpha updates where it is now. I’ll be taking a break from writing, a two-week break at that. Gonna be back on the first Monday of January, and resume work on the story and its other contents.
But until then, I’ll be wishing you guys a wonderful holiday, enjoy it, we all deserve it!

Whoa, this was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. Normally when I read “angels and demons” I tend to sigh, because it’s become so common, and it all just seems like the same thing over and over.
Y’didnt do that here. Being the hybrid is nifty, going out and finding retainers ((champions)) is a fun idea, like picking out your own generals. The character customization is well done. If possible, finding some designs to show what you mean with the horns would be helpful. Also, maybe an incentive for having a tail? It just seems like cosmetic fluff at the moment, but I mean. Impaling someone with a stinger tail? But, these are just small details. Even without them the creation system is good.
I think, the only gripe I have with this. Is you practically never get to “flex” as the MC. I mean, an heir to both heaven and he. Giving them amazing gifts, and you barely use them. 🤷 I would have cried teats of joy if I could have rampaged through the little army when you set out.
You have fleshed out the NPC’s very well, each have a unique personality and are fun to learn about. You just don’t give the MC time to shine at all.
Looking forward to this project in the future~ I’m sure it’ll become a big hit.

And then burning what’s left.
I’ll admit, for a protagonist, they aren’t the center of attention as much as an MC should. But that’s on purpose. There’s a reason why the MC didn’t undergo through any explicit training. They’re just given these “powers”, and ‘bam!’ they’re strong. This first book is meant to be the foundation of a very large fictional world, power scaling only comes second or even third here. But I assure you, the MC will have the opportunity to “show off” plenty. Even more so in the future books, if we ever get to that point.

I’ve read this WIP a few times. I like it but I’ve not seen any romantic choices when talking to people (In this public version). On the previous version of this i remember that you had the choice of saying to Sariel ‘not to kneel to you’ while she is swearing herself to your quest (I’m paraphrasing here) and i was wondering why you took that out of this version. I actually liked that you had that choice. Also, will there be a RO description list?

I think Linara is a/the romance option.
On their tumbler, they said that Linaria and Josaphat are the two romances, and can be romanced by any gender

@Den Dude!! She’s your Father’s sister (meaning your aunt, a blood relative) I know that she’s a demon of lust but what you said was wrong on so many levels.
