Bug: When exploring the Timaeus’ base and I decide not to give Calver a potion, I get randomly transported to a scene between Charlotte and a trans female MC (my character is cis male)

I was reminded a while back that I used to do a lot of polls, which sort of fell off after my long hiatus, in my bid to avoid burning out the same way I did back in 2020. This is still something I’m cautious of, especially right now, but I figure it can’t hurt to do a little bit more community engagement and see where it goes.
Since the most recent update ended with a branch split, I’m also genuinely interested to see what the breakdown might be.

Can you romance Charlotte? The MC and her have more chemistry than any other character past or present. Everyone acts like you doesn’t matter. She starts caring for you at least after Ganon incident.

To answer there is a secret RO that might be a character from our past and it’s not Callum, we don’t know who it is yet so I’m staying hopeful that it’s Charlotte.

I think I got WIPs mixed up, Charlotte is still looking like the most likely to be the secret RO since currently Callum’s romance is essentially a pseudo romance cuz he always betrays us in the prologue.
ill preface this by saying ive only played up to the ganon thing but charlotte is such a b and the only way pc gets along with her is if you kiss ahh but maybe ill change my mind later as i keep reading but idk bro i really dont like her so far shes such a dam i wont type it lol this might get flagged and deleted

Yeah, i can see where are you coming from, but tbh the betrayal is kinda sus, as i said before i didn’t play in a while, so maybe im wrong but i felt at that time that he wasn’t himself but something eose for a time, like the powers he was searching corrupted him
If that was the case, the angst and drama in their relationship could be so good to read and have a lot of room for deeper themes

Normally when the topio of the secret RO comes up, I will make a joke about their true identity, sometimes plausible and someitmes absurd, that many people will recognize as a recurring in-joke.
However, I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of questions and commentary of this nature lately, so I’m going to be uncharacteristically upfront here and be as clear as I can. Let this henceorth be an evergreen post that can continue to be referenced until such time that the secret RO is unveiled, so I only have to endure the trial of sincerity this one time.
The simple reality is that the secret RO could, theoretically, be basically anyone other than the people who are already confirmed to be ROs. This is, in fact, the crux of the aforementioned joke, but it’s also a true statement.
If it’s Callum, it means that there’s romantic content for him beyond (or in place of) the “pseudo-romance” that is currently available. Naturally, I won’t elaborate on what that would imply about his role in the story going forward.
If it’s Charlotte (or any other past character, for that matter), it’s unclear what that implies about how the romance will go, because it can be reasonably assumed that any past character will be dead by the present day. This is something readers would have to grapple with if it turned out to be true.
This is just addressing the two most popular and currently fleshed-out options. It could also be someone you wouldn’t expect, or even someone you haven’t met yet. There are a lot of characters in Soulbound.
If I can make an aside here, one thing I would caution people on is to not hinge your hopes too dearly onto anyone in particular. There are a lot of people who want Callum to be the secret RO and a lot of people who want Charlotte to be the secret RO, and with only one secret RO to go around, at least one of these groups (perhaps both!) is necessarily going to be disappointed.
And that’s understandable.
But try not to let your hopes escalate too far into expectation. I’m not going to please everyone here, but I hope you can continue to enjoy the game, and the existing main cast, whether your desired candidate is the secret RO or not.
Of course, none of this really matters, because, as we all know, the secret RO is Dyren. But, you know, if it was really a secret, these would be things to keep in mind.

No one knows, and Corvus is stingy on details. Except Corvus has repeatedly said on the Discord it’s not gonna be Charlotte, so we’re just out here coping haha.

Corvus has neither confirmed nor denied if Charlotte is the secret RO anywhere, so anything is possible!

What you guys have to remember is that everything I say is a lie, except for the times where I tell the truth.
My previous message, and the information therein, is an instance of the latter.
Except for the part where I say that Dyren is the secret RO, which is, of course, another lie, because as we all well know, the secret RO is, in fact, Charlotte.

It’s a choice. After the fight with the wolf, when you’re about to examine the room, you can choose to join Charlotte, Callum, or Calver, or go on your own. Some options are locked behind conditions: for Charlotte to be available, you need to have bonded with her. For Calver, he has to be alive, lol. If you haven’t bonded with Charlotte and Calver isn’t alive, your have the option to go alone. For reference, here’s a screenshot:

This is not a story update. However, I do have something to commemorate this occasion.
Some of you may recall that a while back, I started making Hero Forge models for some of the Soulbound characters (you can see the ones I made for Valerie and Cortez in the OP).
