Not sure if it’ll lead to a full-blown romance route but something interesting can form at least. (Unfortunately I’ll never know since I will always romance Julia jsgsjshshsj)
Honestly Titus’ popularity always blows me away lol, people love this silly little guy. Makes me wonder if being romantic with him was at all planned before people started saying how much they liked him.
I mean, he’s the most genuine character in a city of political schemers and backstabbers. If you just want someone honest and vaguely well-meaning with an altruistic mindset, Titus is really the only game in town.
A somewhat snivelly and petty lovesick artist doesn’t sound so bad when your other romance options include:
- A code-switching general whose duplicity extends to his very name, and very carefully shows you the side of himself that best suits him, while possibly committing treason on the side.
- A foreign prince with an archaeological obsession that engages in risky self-mutilation and lies to you repeatedly.
- A stupidly wealthy senator who would like power restored to
the peopleherself and her deliberative body, and also possibly sparks civil war. - A gang leader who gets people addicted to hallucinogens, engages in financial fraud and embezzlement, and possibly threatens to kill you.
- A genocidal dictator who likes impaling people on spikes. Also a pretty terrible parent.
It’s hard not to feel sorry for the guy getting treated like shit for half the game is part of it
Hey, that’s our genocidal dictator who likes impaling people on spikes, and is also a terrible parent. She gives cuddles, too.
There’s another potential interaction with Titus where he reciprocates a bit more so in Chapter VI, as well as ones throughout the remainder of the story. However, the connection the Prefect can make with Titus is not a full romance path comparable to the five main romantic options due to the scope and timespan of the events of the story.
Just finished the demo and it’s funny how coin counter PC just deals with all the bs. Like he ain’t built for all this subterfuge and war crime stuff then suddenly Julia casts divine bs, he angers the Goddess by refusing to kneel, has to win Chatram against someone who has been playing that for a long time, then jump straight into saving Kyros without any Warfare experience.
Also Empathy keeps fluctuating between 107, 102, and 100 then jumps back to jumps back to 107, not sure if that’s intended or not.

That’s correct, because I don’t use fairmath I have a snippet of code which sets any over or underflowing 0-100 stats to their respective limits. I might go in and place the *gosub more often if I need to.

Excuse you, my daughter First Citizen Augusta has been raised to be very honest and more than vaguely well-meaning, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
cough sorry did I say that out loud I mean the daughter of Julia and Titus, definitely not mine…
(yes I know you’re referring to ROs or potential ROs but I had to say it)
Just wanted to report some typos:
- In the chapter 3 lesson scene - “The first decade of her reign was a hopeful one one, I would hazard to say."
- In the chapter 3 quarters scene - “The infirmary will be heavily guarded until then, and after that I won’t have anything of this sort happening again,
*if vit_transm = false
again, $!{name},
*else
again, $!{tname}, - In the chapter 4 flashback scene - I can only gawk in disbelief. Is the battle truly won, despite it all?" (the choice is missing a speech mark)
- In the chapter 4 legion scene - "Take your belongings before tomorrow evening and find a ship wiling to take you.”
- In chapter 5 - “My condolences.” I nod, trying to keep from getting to comfortable with her in this moment.
- In chapter 5 - Before any further debate can take place, however, a a silence suddenly comes across the room between both women.
- In chapter 6 - Instead, you spy a blues and yellows, with the figure of a stalwart bull sporting fiery eyes staring out towards you.
- In chapter 6 talking to the Legate - He struggles for his words her, to form an proper excuse
Also I don’t know if this is a mistake but in the chapter 4 flashback scene Julia refers to the Prefect by that title (“You speak well, Prefect $!{lastname}.”) when speaking to the courier. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure they hadn’t been given that title yet?
I believe by that point you were already Prefect of the Camp/Fire/Watch/Treasury/Collection, which is what Julia is referring to instead of Prefect of the State
Thank you for pointing out these typos! The current demo should be updated with fixes with the next chapter.
10/30 Update
Hi all, my October has been pretty difficult overall, though I have made some progress on Shattered Eagle, it hasn’t been as much as I had hoped for. I’m aiming to get the next third of Chapter VI done in November ideally and to deliver the next chapter before the new year!
Remember when you promised Antonius mpreg? sigh
We must rise against azan and steal her own if so we can add antonius mpreg!!!111!!! 11! 1!
I mean, entirely unironically, those sorts of themes are core to Antonius’ story. He’s a man raised in a patriarchal society who entered the service of a matriarchal one. He’s worried about being subordinated to a spouse, of Iudian matricians and their power in Iudia, a power he can never have. That sense of being locked out of and at the whims of a gynocentric power structure is part of his rivalry with the Consul. He’s nervous about being a ‘malewife’ and adhering to the expectations and gender roles marrying into Iudia would bring. Have you tried romancing him as a woman? He’s like a frightened and traumatized kitten. He likes you and is drawn to you, but on some level he is also scared of you and the power you would have over him if he gave in to you.
Can you marry Julia and have a paragon Augusta?
