Portrayal of sexist characters and attitudes in CoGs?

Ok, because I really don’t want to appear insensitive on this topic, I’ve created this thread to ask about writing sexist characters and ideals without being insensitive or offensive.

We really need to make faq thread to link all the times these questions have been asked.

Speaking only for myself…

It’s okay for the game world to have sexism. It’s not okay for the game rules to have sexism. So, for example, it’s okay for some npc’s to believe that my character can’t be a knight because she’s female. It’s not okay for the game to actually not allow my character to be a knight because she’s female.

@MeltingPenguins is right though this topic has been discussed at great length and with great passion across other threads.
