First off id like to say congrads for going for your dream and i hope all goes well for you.
as for restricting a story, I guess it all depends what your restricting, I expect a certain degree of restriction because as a writer your taking us on a journey, otherwise I’d turn on my ps3 and play sandbox games where I can do whatever I want… But stuff that doesn’t really mater, like customisation when it comes to characters(looks), and other things, the more choices I can have the better. I no some people don’t like the idea,but with fake choices it allows people the chance to create an alter ego, not every choice needs to have a meaning full out come so why not if its not going to effect the story?
But then at least the question has to be interesting and atmospherically.
A sequence of 10 questions like
“What is your haircolor?”
would bore me.
