Oh yeah! I think I did have like Cool toned highlights!!
Regarding this, I noticed that I was able to pull out the 13 page dissertation with Adrian and mostly acted mute but I didn’t have the “hasn’t said a word yet” in the status screen which caused the MC to talk at certain points. From trying again I noticed that the “hasn’t said a word yet” is removed if you pick fairy godmother during career choice but will still let you pull out the dissertation later if you don’t talk until then. That may be the issue?
Yeah, I definitely need to tweak that so it’s only firing off if you’ve streaked your MC’s hair with neon blue or something, not more natural colors.
Oh yeah, the Fairy Princess option! That turns off the mute flag because it mentions that you’re prone to randomly bursting into song like a Disney character there. I’ll have to clue that in the choice itself to warn people that your MC is singing there.
Otherwise, the silent options are always available even to talkative MCs because sometimes you just don’t feel like speaking at the moment.
If the other mcs do win the poll. It’ll probably be better to introduce the gun a bit later than the guard mc. I don’t see why a fast food worker needs a gun a lol unless they are the killer secret.
Merlin reminds me so much of gojo satrou, which kinda explains why my mc instantly fell for him lol.
I just noticed something- What’s the Crimes and Known Crimes?
Also is the " I should have brought a sword" in reference to Excalibur? Just making sure because I had it but that choice was still blocked off.
Or is That in reference to the person who does fencing?(I know that option isn’t written yet)
Was looking through some of the code for any interesting scenes I didn’t catch first time around and found this (presumably) bug with the clothes_stat in Merlin’s introduction where they comment on your clothes in the apartment with the low-neck t-shirt.
The stat asked for in the scene seems to be different from the one you get if you pick the clothes, ‘Low Neck Shirt & Jeans’ rather than the ‘Low-neck T-shirt & Jeans’ the stat asks for. This bug doesn’t happen with the earlier scene where you first meet Adrian and he comments on your outfit, worked correctly there. Not sure if this happens with any of the other clothing options, and not sure what it says about me that this is the one I noticed.
Does anyone know how to get the Run Run Run Runaway achievement? I keep falling off my horse. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
Really? Actually that makes sense to release in parts. You give out signs of life as well making sure the coding is correct. I just wonder how my Male MC is handling it…
Looks at my male MC stuffed in a sack being stared down while being pulled by Merlin like a possibly good snack while a certain stalker stares at Merlin with thoughts of murder and jealousy while pulling the other side of the sack
Eh looks fine ![]()
Beyond that I get the feeling that this whole chapter is partly to scare us as well as make it a big personality test for our supposed reincarnated role as Knight or witch or something completely bunkers… but that could be me
P.S
So glad Among us like experience is not required lol

My stats for the character I plan to use in the full game. Giver or take some minor differences.
Are we locked into Polo as a hobby?
Technically yes? The author just hasn’t added the other hobbies yet.
I’m just glad some words and terms are links so I can understand those unfamiliar words. I didn’t even know what my mc was doing for a hobby lol.
Here were my final stats, this was incredibly trippy and I’m very curious to know what comes next, who my MC’s past life and so on.

Ah, I thought it was something akin to a “Corruption of the Soul” or something and demons were able to take advantage. Especially since the criminal serial killer I tried this with ended up with -999 purity (Not sure if it’s a bug or not)
I can’t wait until fencing is added. I have (very little) some actual experience with fencing class. Also, please allow me to short out the entire building that club meets in with a fencing foil, author. For…nostalgia reasons. Reasons that got both me and my dad kicked out.
@VelvetDivine
Adrian almost breaks the fourth wall, if we mention the book club ![]()
Thanks to everyone still posting stats and bug reports! (Or just generally commenting).
The detective and security guard actually have the handgun by default and they can use it as early as the very beginning of the chapter when the MC’s apartment is acting all haunted. It also comes up again if the MC makes it all the way back to their apartment after polo practice (you can try and use it against the monster under the bed) and when the time comes for packing. The criminal MC only reveals that they’ve got an illegal machine gun after they’ve returned to the apartment after polo practice.
If the “more guns!” option wins the polls then the other MCs won’t have access to a gun until after they’ve completed the ‘rob the gun store’ sidequest either in chapter 2 or chapter 3. (And the detective and security guard will always be better with their guns since they’ve been extensively trained, meanwhile the criminal will still be the only one with access to the XM556 Microgun)
Presumably all the other MCs now want guns to help fight off whatever is coming after them at this point.
And they can look exactly like real life Gojo if that’s your thing! (Not to mention that the MC can say they want to summon Gojo to exorcise their apartment earlier).
Crimes and Known Crimes are basically exactly what they say on the tin. You can sorta guess where this is going considering there’s now a poll asking if people want their MCs to rob a gun store.
The “I should have brought a sword” option is grayed out if you actually had access to a sword (Excalibur or the fencing sword) since if you had one, you’d know at this point that a (normal) sword is useless against the monster.
Welcome to the board! It means that you’re awesome, because I never would’ve caught that bug in a million years. The randomize your appearance option uses ‘Low-neck T-shirt & Jeans’ while the normal customization option uses ‘Low Neck Shirt & Jeans’, so the flavor test always worked when I tested it, but in actuality it wouldn’t be working half the time for half the players. I’ll have to go through the code and make sure that option always uses the same spelling. Thanks again for the bug report!
Like the stat check for escaping the monster under the bed, that’s a multi-layered check with several success & several failure points. It’ll depend upon which horse you chose, what you did with the horse treats, what you did while tacking up, what talent you picked while playing polo, if you want to pass this check primarily with the physical stat or the luck one etc.
Just another p̴e̷r̶f̶e̷c̷t̷l̵y̴ ̵n̷o̷r̸m̵a̶l̸ ̴d̵a̶y̶ ̵ in the life of the Harbinger MC. This story is always going to be dark (it’s the apocalypse after all), but since the MC doesn’t have their powers back yet, it’s definitely got more of a horror flavor going early on.
That’d be another good way to describe it. And that negative purity is working as intended, there are some things you can do to irretrievably tank your purity as that’s measuring your saintliness, goodytwoshoe-ness, and generally how you’re living up to the ideal of the knight in shining armor etc.
It’s not a major stat, it just gives some bonuses such as helping protect against corruption, so don’t feel like you need to chase after purity points if you’re playing a darker MC.
Sounds like my level of experience with fencing (although I never shorted out the electricity). But don’t worry, the fencing club meeting has the same capability of ending in a clusterfuck just like the polo meeting.
I didn’t even know the detective had a gun but I imagine it failing horrible against the monster like the sword. I suppose the roles that already have guns are naturally better but the guard has to be the best for obvious reasons.
Yea lol the sword one made sense after I sat and thought about it and got the light bulb over my head like “ohhh that’s probably if you DIDN’T bring it” definitely makes more sense.
And then for the crime, I guess I was confused because I had 3 Crime at the end of one of my plays but couldn’t pinpoint when my MC did anything crime worthy.
Also, smh one of my MCs definitely does not need a gun, actually two of them. This is such a bad idea lmao
. Well the other already has one and is a killer with anger management issues, yikes. The first one is literally a sweetheart but is an adrenaline Junkie and just does whatever.
