It’s been a while since I’ve said I’ve updated (and used a joke picture to keep things lighthearted). So yeet yeet things are updated with Good News from a Production standpoint. I got randomtest back so error testing might actually be decent~!

- A little bit more with Nico in the Forest Arc (which can now be accessed)
- Deleted a lot of the fluff
- Added interactions and more with the last choices before the Prologue ends
- Grammar and various spelling
It’s going slow (I blame by addiction to FGO ENG and FEH) but it’s getting going so hurray?

So maristela route don’t have an update yet or did I get a bug after she introduces herself?
Not to mention that a ‘trap’ is not transgender, just a cross-dresser. And even if the word IS a slur, it’s mostly an anime-only word you don’t use in real life.

Nah she wasn’t updated yet unfortunately. I’m planning on working through the routes and Forest Arc in the next update.

So I’m still working on this oddly enough. I’ve been hitting a lot of rough patches with it, if the constant changes since first illiteration has been any indication. I have never really been happy with whatever I make and I have yet to figure out why. Hence why I keep torturing everyone hoping for a straightforward story with perpetual abrupt changes. I have also thought about dropping it because of this issue but I’m such a stubborn nitwit I have yet to.
I deleted the old stuff for my initial thoughts of revamping it but I might actually bring it back because I think I might actually be able to whip something up with it (Made in Abyss saved my creativity). So I’m making this post to apologize for the past and its craziness and to apologize for the future as its bound to keep changing until I hit that niche that will make me happy to continue writing for more than a few weeks at a time.
The only characters I really like too are Kazuko, Alia and Nico so they’re probably going to be the only remnants of the past versions at this rate. Again, I’m sorry for dragging people around like this. I just hate giving people hope something will be created then it being dropped because there’s simply no love anymore. It doesn’t help I made this back in high school initially and I can attest I was a flighty bird back then.
Edit 1: A change that I’m thinking of it making less anime-like in terms of plot. So no big universe-scale like it initially was intended to be. It’ll be far more condensed (if I like it) and focused around atmosphere and the land, not unlike a mix of Dark Souls or Made in Abyss.
Plot possibly being PC [still a royal] dying and being revived as an undead through mysterious means some time later. So they must go on a quest to recover their memories by travelling around Acacia, which has fallen into borderline ruin since PC’s death. And after recovering their memories, see if they can restore their fallen land back to how it was despite being well…a zombie. Of course, this is idea shooting and it might change as it has. But I like its concept so who knows.
