I am the author of The Monarch of Mediana, the new space opera WIP posted last month. I actually made several posts in the writer’s thread last year-ish, when I was still undecided about which wip idea I should choose. And I did go through a lot of ideas prior to publishing my wip topic, as you probably can see from the interest check thread xD
But what makes me decide on this setting/genre? Well, because, firstly, it is sort of a combination of all my previous ideas, divided and boiled down to arcs. Secondly, I’ve always been an avid sci-fi fan, and the Foundation series is one that got me through the most difficult years during my life (while also playing a major role in deciding my uni major lol). All in all, I am quite happy that I finally found the basis of my wip.
As for this month’s goal, I aim to finish Part III of Act 1. Also try not to let my gaming addiction overtake me (sigh, it’s hard, because the outer worlds 2 is out and I love it so much).
