I went into this thinking I would have to blind my buttonās future love interest with paint, but it turns out winning was as simple as not letting them enter the room at all! Lol I love this game.

Read your demo a while back and I absolutely loved it. I noticed the update today and decided to go for it and itāsā¦ so, so, sooooooo good. Your writing is cool and the story is very very much fun. And thereās not many story have a tsundere MC ā¦i think.

You actually donāt need to measure the room if you have a high enough insightful stat apparently, I hid the paint and was still able to block the door

But considering rosy personality, makes sense that they would make the assignment difficult for button to win, unless button think outside the box. Just like how they makes an example out of glitch In front of everyone, implying that rosy like to make an example out of someone rather than just boring explanation.

From what I understand the 1st assignment is meant to be a no win scenario that Rosie uses every year. Itās meant to take whoever the highest scorer is down a peg and show the rest of the class they have a lot to learn. By keeping Nox out of the room Buttonās showing that 1. they recognize the odds are against them and 2. they arenāt cocky enough to assume they can still win.
In an actual combat situation like this, where an operative is outmatched with little chance for escape, the next best option would be prioritizing their safety and getting them into a defensible position until backup can arrive.
So Rosie giving Button the win is essentially them acknowledging their ability to think tactically and the fact that theyāve already learned the lesson that Rosie was trying to teach.

You need to either measure the room before hand (which I think? you can only do if you go in without Glitch) or have an innovation score >= 25.

Aaaaah I played through the demo update and spent half an hour trying to come up with something to sayā¦all I can manage to put into words is that I really enjoyed this update so far, but not even that can express the amount of enjoyment I had playing through it? Even right now im zoning in and out on trying to think of what to say, but the ecstatic feeling I got from what Iāve read through brings me back to my senses. 
I swear youāve strung the right cords in developing an MC/characters the reader can attach to and a story that leaves me wanting moreā¦
