Don’t get the wrong idea, I don’t find you attractive, neither romantically nor physically," she states bluntly,
Cue to Piaf!
Yeah, now I know who I’m chasing!
Oh man, that cliffhanger! ARGHHHHHHHHHH!
But yeah, I’m totally going for the ‘Whine: Why can’t I have them all?’
Ohh wait wait…I have a Question!!
Can we play Matchmaker? You know, like for example when I had the date with Rose (The detective), and she told me about her wife, brain instant went ‘Ohhh, she would be a good match for Tris’. Funny enough, Leonie would be a good match for Julia, they both have tons of energy and enthusiasm.
As for Noelle, honestly the interaction with her is very little…so I’m surprised you could tell her you have feelings for her. Feel too early.
That’s an interesting idea; I’ll see what I can do
I see what you mean, and I want to add some more interactions with Noel/le. It’s just that I fear adding too much screentime with them will give it away too early that they are actually an RO. That’s supposed to be an unexpected twist
I just though…both of them know pain, and are trying to dismantle the mystery of this ‘Urge’, if they worked together maybe they can find healing together and something would blossom. They can become just friends, or something more. Either way would work, it beat seeing them sad and stuck in the past.
I personally never like having an Input in an NPC romance, but here? if it’s done well…as in a little nudge here and there, it can be okay.
About Noelle: But you already declared her a romance at the beginning. When you give us a choice as to why we turned her advance.
Tris/tan doesn’t really want to learn the mystery; they just view the Urge through a pragmatic lens. They see it working out for other people and they hope to use it to make their life better as well.
I do like the idea, but can’t promise anything at this point. I’ve seen a lot of people on these forums passionately complain about ROs romancing other ROs. I fear this might unleash their wrath upon me
Yeah, but that happens in chapter 2, and it’s still meant to be a “here’s why you’re just friends” kind of moment.
I like how Astrid and Leon get together in Keeper if the mc doesn’t romance either of them. It’s one of the funnier segments. Also Phil and Sammy ending up together if the mc similarly doesn’t romance either of them was something I liked in Totem force.
Interesting. I don’t remember that particular part, but I enjoyed Totem Force when I played it in 2019, so if it worked out there, it might work here too (maybe)
As long as the mc gets first dibs and a reasonable timeframe I don’t really see any problem. The problems are more in certain non-cog VN games, particularly older (japanese/JRPG) ones where some romances are either blink and you miss it or have extremely specific and arcane requirements to fire for the mc and then another party member moves in to quickly seal the deal. Suffice it to say I don’t think this game or most other games on this site are in any danger of that.
@Frankex_2272 I do, especially since I’m not sure how big this game will end up being, but reaching 100k total words while I’m writing chapter 3 is an encouraging sign!
At the end of Chapter two, could we have an option with Noel/le to say that we’re not sure which of the ROs we like the best yet (I still feel like I don’t known any of them well enough to say which one I like the most for sure )?
The only real western, non JRPG, non indie example that comes to mind would be Bioware’s old “Jade Empire” game, where for the “gay” romance to even fire for the male player you had to turn down both girls…hard and not at all gentle.
