The only main ro from that game that I remember is some weird dame called black magic.
If black widow was an option that would have been my choice.

my favorite : Preston from Tin Star. i don’t know he was RO at first until i read about it in this forum and I try SO hard to find a way to romance him (apparently, I have to slap him first).
and no regret, the interaction with him was just so… lovely. until now That was the most memorable romance scene from all the game I have played here. 
second favorite: Choice of the deathless = Vega, the romance scene after the love confession. and even after that just so smooth and sweet. 
also, Ashley Wakefield: Tsundere bastard makes me like him from the get go.
I would like to nominate Vega’s line for the most romantic one of all time.

Is there a character named Black Widow in later games in the series or something? You’re the first person I saw saying “Black Widow”.

Yeah, but you said Black Widow as if that was an actual thing in the game. I only played the first game though so I don’t know who or what that is. Like, were you thinking that the character from the Avengers was in Heroes Rise?
I was joking.
Orkwut mistaked the RO black magic for black widow from the avengers so I acted suprised and asked him how he romanced black widow (even though I knew he meant black magic)
Then he realized he made a mistake and edited his first post.

Hawkins is what tvtropes calls a Char Clone - a character heavily inspired by Char Aznable from the original Gundam series. Char was the most popular character in that series and a lot of Mecha rivals/villians take notes from him. Including Zechs (Zex) Merquise.
Plus Mecha Ace is one long love letter to the Gundam series, referencing the Bright slap, the Red Comet and more, so it’s not surprising that they have a rival inspired by the classic Gundam rival.

I’ve never played Mecha Ace, but Zechs Merquise is my first love. I remember watching Gundam Wing on Toonami as a little girl and falling head over heels for him. Of course, that entire show was a bishie fest, which is why it’s the only Gundam show my sister and I watched.
I’m going to have to play Mecha Ace now just for that. It has always been my sad little otaku dream to romance Zechs… .
I think most of us here have those otaku dreams. In my case, it’s Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess. She’s pretty much as close to perfect as you’re ever going to find.

In my case it’s Starscream from Transformers Armada. *bad pokerface * OK, OK, I guess having a crush on a giant ill mannered robot that at that moment in time had defected from the Decepticons to the Autobots is a bit odd, but a girl can dream, right?
