Why is everyone flirting with my girl M. From the doc to the child of the priest. And why is she so receptive of their advances, like girl you have a boyfriend shut them down why are you blushing. I know it’s because of poly. But is there an option to block poly scenes at the beginning?

It’s funny because I was just talking about this in another forum. I hate that M is so receptive of all this flirting and we can’t shut it down. I just want everyone to leave me and my boyfriend alone, especially because I’m not into poly and seeing my boyfriend so receptive of all this flirting makes me unconfortable to the point I’m starting to lose interest in his romance.
I also wish we could block poly at the beggining, or at least tell people it’s unconfortable seeing them flirt with someone I’m with (oh and I wish I could say something to M too instead of just letting it pass, because yeah, it’s not funny and I know it’s because of poly but as someone with personal reasons to not like poly it’s extremely unconfortable seing your boyfriend so into someone else)

That’s cause they’re both kids so I wanted to reserve that for later. It is there in chapter 2.2 where the MC can choose if they had a romantic feelings for Alex
She is?? I thought I wrote M trying to murder V and M’s. (This is kinda why the whole thing needed a rewrite cause M hates V’s guts and if the MC doesn’t choose em or if there’s a poly route it goes from enemies to lovers with the MC acting as a bridge for them to be lovers.)
But yeah, that should very much not happen (Will be focusing that on the rewrite, thanks for pointing it out!)

I will wait for you to rewrite then, because I really can’t stand the doctor and all their advances to me and M to tell you the truth, especially because we can’t tell them to back off or tell M we didn’t like to see them so receptive of their advances.
Also the doctor really makes me feel umconfortable for some reason and I can’t help but dislike them. And btw can we chose to not like them the first time we see them, because right now even if I chose they’re too old for my tastes the text says MC’s blushing and when we’re around them it feels like we have a crush and that’s definitely not what my MC would feel about them.
Thank you for answering and for being nice, sometimes authors feel defensive about poly routes and I just feel bad pointing something out because for me there’s a very personal reason to not like poly routes and yeah I don’t like to make authors feel bad when it’s a me problem

Even in the origional plans, it’s the MC who makes their advances to the doctor and he/she denies them since it’s him/her that doesn’t want it in the beginning (Elizabeth/John sees the MC as someone he needs to take care of since he/she’s responsible for them) but yeah, if I wrote that, then I’m sorry you had to read that
Hmm if you chose to not like them then you shouldn’t be getting any of these scenes. It’s more likely a coding error.
Apparently it’s not a coding error, I thought this meant that the doctor’s to the MC’s taste so it’s more of a language issue 
(Not saying that English language is an issue, it’s more that I am still shit at English LOL) (apparently for my taste doesn’t mean a specific thing is to a person’s palate, it means they don’t like it. Will be changing that immediately THANKS AGAIN FOR POINTING IT OUT!! )
Oh no! I rather you be harsh and kick me in down and tell me what’s wrong in the book then make me feel good with fake compliments I wanna make this book the best it can be and I can’t do that without me being hammered so don’t worry about feeling bad, I really REALLY appreciate you telling me all this! Also yep! You do get options to block John/Elizabeth when you make out (Just say they look interesting other two makes it so that the MC likes John/Elizabeth hence the blushing scenes(Even then it should be for the sub MC))

It could be coding issue or language. Because my MC already warned M not to get too close with Elizabeth/John she still did in later chapter. She even admitted in her letters she felt like she cheated on the MC. It’s weird because I don’t think M is the kind of person to break boundaries set by the MC.
Also why I think its coding issue or language issue is when I said no sharing of partners. V relationship with M started from teasing to M trying to murder V in jealousy. It’s kinda funny how unintentionally toxic these relationship of these people are.

That’s more of a me issue, I told myself to put a if option here which was basically a poly route but never got to that cause rewrite kinda took more priority (Will be changing that during rewrite )
Oh no, M has always tried to murder V cause that MF gets on M’s nerves V does tease M though cause that’s V. If you feel that M is getting along with V, Uhhhh, yeah that shouldn’t be happening

The cakes only last for the duration of a day, but if you’re active enough on the forum, you will eventually see one pop up. They populate to the right hand side of the username they’re appended to.

It’s a whole arc that V has to go through before they consider it. V is, in the end, (Spoilers if you haven’t read the book) V is the offspring of one of Ordo Solathis and has spent their entire life in the church. To betray the church and love a Vampire, much less a gay/trans vampire, they’re going to have to let go of that prejudice. Soo yes, there’s going to be an arc!

- Things that have changed in this rewrite SO FAR.
The introduction has been entirely scraped off.
The pendant inherently tries to help the MC in every way and Adrian, the owner of the Pendant is also helping out the MC in every way that he/she can in the earlier chapters. There will be more that you will hear from him/her in chapter 3 as well!
MC shouldn’t be very mad at Blaine for no reason (If you guys do see something like that, please do point that out to me)
MC shouldn’t look edgy any more for no reason and should feel as if they’re more dependable.
Stoic option should minimize almost all of MC’s dialogues into stone cold and silent brooding type.
I haven’t reached chapter 3 yet but I’m trying to make it so that any poly route happens through MC. V does flirt with everyone, but as I said before, He/she’d flirt with a rock so he/she’s a special case (Belongs in a psyche ward special case) so they’re an exemption.
Blaine shouldn’t be too touchy touchy with the MC (I also made it so that the scene where Blaine was asking if they’d like to go for a date only occurs if MC accepts Blaine. Instead you will encounter building more friendship with Vigil)
Blaine would not hug an MC unless they’re RO or if they are asked not to hug even with an RO (Please point out if this is still an issue)
Nathan did love Natasha however distance caused them to grow apart and he moved on with his wife (MC’s mother) and had a happier life with her. MC’s mother is now amazing and not someone that wasn’t in MC’s life.
I don’t know why but my stupid ass made it write the MC’s inner dialogue that went against the choice sometimes. E.g (MC chooses to be against Blaine. Inner dialogue: “Wow, why am I an asshole?” This has been changed and I’m so SO sorry. As a punishment I shall do around 3 days of intense leg work out (It’s not like I do anything else lmao)
The football scene with Blaine has entirely been scraped off. It was, in the beginning, supposed to be a short story for Blaine but I added it into the book. I’ll be putting it on the short stories list (But it’s on the backburner for now) so yeah, Patreoners should not see it and I’ll also delete it in public in a week’s time when I update the book.
I would also like to point out that English isn’t my first language and even though I’ve gotten a better grip, there are slangs/words that aren’t the words I think they are (So if you feel like something’s weird or doesn’t belong here, do tell me >.<)
Goals for this rewrite:
The doctor has some kind of issue. Idk why but the MC blushes (Or does something similar) even when the reader chooses the option to like the DR. (Will be implementing in chapter 3’s rewrite.)
Add more Adrian interactions in chapter 3.
I already made a shy MC make M grow bolder so if any one does try to flirth with M/MC they’re going to get angry and stand up. (Will be implementing that in chapter 3’s rewrite)
I do need feedback on the Doctor, the flaws, what ya’ll like or didn’t like etc. Don’t care about being rude or anything, any feedback is appreciated.
I would also like any and all feedback and the changes you’d like to see in the book. I will be adding all these changes with the rewrite.
This is a final rewrite btw and there won’t be any rewrite after this until I finish the entire book.
So yeah! I aim to please, unfortunately my aim is not very good ;-;

Multiple choices were added in chapter 3 on how you precieve V, you can also have a crush on first sight because I feel like I’m getting a hang of it.
Vale/Vivian won’t be flirting with Marcus/Melissa if you tell them not to. The won’t flirt with the MC either (they will try to flirt with the MC)
