I think it would be a “victory” for her if her son overcame the crap that her husband put her through, from being the second choice over her twin to having her child be passed over for he son of a former flame. Her chess game’s end goal is finally being recognized as the queen (not consort, concubine, etc.) and having her son recognized as first in line. If Andus isn’t giving it willingly, she is plotting to put you in a position to “win” for her.
I won’t deny that she has true maternal feelings for you but she has her own goals as well.

@No_This_Is_Patrick @Vergil16 I definitely think she cares about her son and wants the best for him, but she’s not unbiased. I think she wouldn’t want the throne for him so badly if it wasn’t to put one over on Marxus and Andus. And if you say you don’t want to be king she doesn’t like that. I think that in her mind, you being king comes first, but she still loves you and cares about you. Like when you and Melissa confess to each other she notices and is happy for you.

the animals there are more on mythical or non-existent creatures. Not sure if I’ll add a dog or a cat. But yes, you would be able to train them.
