Leaving with Seven wouldn’t have fixed the problems inherent to Seven and MC’s relationship, so while I think the band was tactless and played a part in the whole little hullabaloo, they’re not the sole reason and that’s not something I hold against them. But the way they walk on eggshells about the whole thing with MC while also lowkey using it as a lesson in what not to do in their own lives is, like, a little insensitive.

I mean if anything your twenties are for making mistakes, figuring yourself out, dating losers lol. Just in general being a mess. So imo it makes sense for a story such as Infamous.

Yeah. It’s not the vote, although that was the dickiest move that has ever dicked. It’s the fact it feels, overall, like a bucket of crabs that pull you back in the second you try crawling out - if they are concerned about MC and walk around them on tippy toes, if they thought that voting Seven out would be better in general, they would not behave this… callous, I feel. It feels like all of them but MC and Jazzy just said “good riddance to bad rubbish” and just decided to move on, which is… sure, do what you do. but you don’t get to constantly shove it into MC’s face.
The main issue is the shoving. It’s essentially just poking the wound and preventing it from scabbing on its own.
For me it’s teens and very early twenties. It’s just… yeesh, here’s the first cultural shock.

Man, I still can’t grasp why all the hullabaloo about Seven (either way the hullabaloo goes). They’re such a zero-charisma thing that I kept forgetting they existed WHILE I WAS PLAYING THE GAME. Like, ROs in every IF always get something out of me, even if I have zero interest in them, and even if that something is stuff like “outright loathing” or “exasperated sigh”.
But Seven? There’s just… nothing there. At all. You could draw my attention better with an actual literal beige wall.

Let’s just say I’ve made a lot of mistakes from teens until…whatever age I am now. 
Anyways yeah they’re all about 26ish cuz G and Victoria are slightly older at 27/28 lol. Orion is about 35 and Seb’s 33.

I don’t think it’s a sort of tall poppy syndrome or anything. I think they were just young and dumb, and MC was getting them more recognition, so it makes sense they’d want to move in the direction of featuring MC more prominently. That’s, objectively, a good business decision. But that’s why you don’t go into business with close friends and family — it’s difficult to make objective business decisions when there are so many deep feelings at play.

For me it’s twinks with Issues™ and tsunderes. I manage to whisper to them in a way others have issues with: first the successful happy ending with Hawkins on blind run, then the blundering through Wakefield without hitting him with a steel chair, then the soft and pliant Darcy who was much nicer to me compared to everyone else. I seem to have some sort of attuned mindset towards them, and it’s durian raccons and tsunderes that often end up as my favorites.
But it’s also because no one else really grabbed me. Like, I will probably romance Blake or Dakota as well, but there’s just something in these twinks.
I do get the reasoning. I just don’t feel like it was solely business that motivated the band to vote. There must be something else in these waters, they’re too terribly clear for my eyes.

In my teens/college I went to class, played the violin, got my blackbelt in tae kwon do, and then all my free time was video games, comics, and art and writing. I didn’t have time to get into too much trouble.
I definitely made up for that in my early to mid 20s.

So I’m a little late, but I’ve been backtracking the comments and wanted to say my two cents regarding that one love triangle ask: while it’s good that amy keeps reiterating that it’s not what it looks like, after this first taste of chapter three is also really hard to see certain gestures as platonic imo.
Close friends can be comfortable with one another yadda yadda, but idk about you but I don’t go sleeping attached to the hip with them or constantly touch them in places that just feel a little too tactical lol (especially if you’re in the ex route)
As for another thing I saw mentioned, be it the car reaction to you having to steal a ride, I will say that for Sev’s route that was a really good tidbit, considering what goes on in their head. Also really enjoyed Blake’s flavor of the same scene, but for different reasons.

I usually role play “twinks with issues” MCs and latch onto more stable and reliable ROs, but this time my MC is …well. Not stable at all but kinda reliable and he clicks so well with Seven. Seven suck, Seven is an immature ass but somehow it compells me.
Totally understand the appeal now and gonna find more hissing-raccoon-containing IFs haha

The narrative is hinting at it a little, but I also don’t think it was necessarily malicious. I don’t think it was motivated by jealousy, but maybe concern.

I do get this and I’m also a little 
, but I think, also, a love triangle the way it’s usually portrayed in media assumes that both opposing parties have an equal chance at getting with the object of affection and I don’t think that’s case here. Or I don’t get that sense, anyway.

I think Seven’s route won’t have the LT TROPE, but Savina+MC is indeed a love triangle (Two parties have romantic feelings for a third party. One of them has mutual feelings.) It just won’t be much of an obstacle in the Mc/7 relationship because Seven isn’t interested in Avina. Really, it’s not about Savina but about Seven being an insecure immature prick.
Avina, sadly, isn’t just an obsessive bestie as I thought before. Their POV at the viewing party and the ogling at Seven’s body at the end of the car scene pretty much confirm, at least for me, their attraction and romantic feelings. Avina is really vying for Seven’s attention, and desperately so. Yeah, that’s not reciprocated, the MC is the one for Sev and it most likely won’t cause any issues in Seven’s route. But still, it is a love triangle.

Oh those are actually good points… I think that Avina not having a planned ending is what makes this not a LT then, as simple as that. I will keep arguing that their ways are just weird, but I was always on the side of “seven doesn’t give a fuck” so yep guess that settles it. It’s still annoying and I wish it wasn’t there, but I guess I can look at it differently now.
