I have friends who make new WIPs every other week, and their schedules are really slow because of school or work and also because they have super long chapters. I agree with the others that it’s really about how long it takes for you to write and how long your chapters are. I tried using Twine and it just feels easier for me to write on there and make progress compared to other platforms which are more complicated (for me lol).

This is a very subjective question. There are many factors to consider: story length and complexity, time, familiarity with the software, and so on. Especially with how experienced you are. Everyone is different, there is no ‘best answer’. But if you have a strong enough passion for your work, time is no barrier. But be warned: it is no walk in the park. You probably know yourself best.
