How do I structure a moral choice between honesty, dishonesty and manipulation?

I kinda wanted charisma to just be based on what you said and trustworthiness mostly, the manipulation stat is just a measure of how manipulative you are, it won’t have any skill checks.

@AnomanderRake
I would say just make the game how you want and don’t worry about the small stuff right now.
Once the game is finished, then you can go back and go into editing and polishing mode.
Don’t let a small detail keep you from generating the other 99 percent. :sunglasses:

Actually don’t mind me I am a bit nosey but what is the the point of a stat that doesn’t have any use ( I have seen a lot of games with that prob )

lol, i mean, some of those stats have zero use, they just make you feel more like your character

this is a little bit more than a small detail, but yeah. if i keep reworking my stats i’ll never get anything done :stuck_out_tongue:

That Carlos guy is right don’t worry about small stuff right now . For now work on story and then work on these things.

If you absolutely need to work out the stats thing right now because it’s preventing future development, you could always try a sort of lightside / darkside thing, as an opposed_pair statistic in order to represent your character’s moral compass. The most obvious example of a light/dark structure that comes to mind is used in Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMO). So, it can be done! :grin:

Of course, I would recommend against specifically calling it “lightside” and “darkside” – just think of creative applications for these concepts.

The Black Talon General choice…

The Black Talon General choice…

huh?

“The Black Talon” is the name of a Flashpoint in SW:TOR.
Here’s a video! :smiley:

Sorry, it was supposed to be a reply for @Carlos.R .SWTOR sometimes is very peculiar when it comes to dark and light side.

Kill the traitor General = dark side
Capture, torture and then kill the General = Light side
