First things first. The story is great however both the forest and crypt paths do not have the kids showing up after the inspector leaves. Which the crypt I understand but the forest? Really? The kids have enough courage to delve a run down manor but not a forest. Then there is the issue of gaining mana in the following screenshot.

The twins showing up is part 2 of chapter one, which as far as i recall has only been added for the manor at the moment. The other two locations only have part one for now.

To be fair the twins are forced to do it by the others. It was that bad that our minions literally ignored them and went straight for the bullyās. Like the comment above said it hasnāt been written for most of the places

I remember a story on the HFY subreddit thats very similar to this, Was it inspired by that?
While thatās certainly possible, but Dungeoncore as a genre can trace its popularity at least as far back as the 1997 computer game Dungeon Keeper.
Someone even published a living dungeon ancestry for dungeons and dragons 5e.

Iāll look into the mana issue, but as others have said the twins arenāt yet available for other locations. They will be very soon now though. Iām just returning to work on this now that things have calmed down with my family situation.

This is the kind of game I be waiting for for a well, I been reading a lot about dungeon cores storys l, and to finally see one where you play as a dungeon core yourself is a dream come true, anyway has to ask but is the MC someone who reincarnated and become a dungeon core are are we part of this world from the start? Besides that I be keeping a eye on this game from now on well playing dungeon keeper and reading about dungeon cores on royal road from now on.

Interesting start so far and Henry seems like a good character for the intro. It looks like the premise gives you alot of freedom to expand itās lore in alot of directions. Will be curious how we fit in with the kingdom and other dungeons in the world as you flesh things out.
I wonder if our dungeon could expand to the point that we end up absorbing a neighboring dungeon. Although what would the ramifications of that be from a lore perspective and what would happen to the other dungeons sentient core? Absorbed into yours for greater power? Or the rival core now becomes a new servant in your dungeon? Hmmā¦
Game play wise I think it might help when choosing minion upgrades if the game options (or the Monster Encyclopedia) said what the upgrades actually meant. For example it isnāt clear to me what the difference is between an Elder Fairy and a Sage Fairy. If there was a save option I could test multiple options and not worry to much about that but there doesnāt seem to be a way to save your progress currently.
In any case Iām looking forward to seeing what the other locations are like and hopefully we will get a body to take actions directly with sooner rather then later. It will be alot more fun to contribute against invading adventurers directly and we will want a body to woo potential ROās.

This is a really interesting concept that I never thought Iād be invested in before.
Really eager to see how the story and the worldbuilding itself would develop. That said, I can tell this is gonna be quite the big project so feel free to take your time. Seriously, its fine if the updates have a bit of a gap between them so as to avoid yourself being burnt out. Take care~
