Monthly Update: Novmeber 2025
Hey everyone and Happy November! Time feels like it’s flying while I desperately clutch at it’s ankles trying not fall. (Please excuse the melodramatic analogy.)
I hit some snags in October, with my personal life affecting my writing life a lot. Typically, I add about 25-30k words a month to the main IF, but I barely made 10k this month. I’m still writing everyday that isn’t Sunday, progress is just going much slower than usual.
For November, I’ve set myself the writing goal of 40k words, which is very ambitious, but my personal life should be calming down, and I am determined to make more progress this month. As always feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the development of the IF.

Monthly Update: December 2025
Hey guys! Can you believe it’s already the end of the year? I certainly can’t. Didn’t make the 40k goal I placed for myself which is okay since it was pretty ambitious anyway.
I am getting pretty close to finishing the skeleton of chapter 4-2, and am hoping to be done with it by the end of the year, so no word goals for the month, just finishing the skeleton.
I will be traveling which will make my schedule a bit more sporadic over the course of the month. Everything on Patreon should come out as normal, but I’ll be on social media a bit less (mostly here and Tumblr) still feel free to leave comments or send asks. I just might need a few days to respond, since I want to focus my free time on the actual IF while I’m gone.

If you can’t romance female characters, are there at least some you can be friends with? Or are there none?
There’s Mercy who is around for a decent portion of chapter 4, and will get more inportant during chapter 5. And chapter 5 will also introduce another female character that will be pretty important.

Monthly Update: January 2026
First update of 2026! 
Happy New Year, everyone. December was a mixed bag for me. I spent a lot of it traveling (and am still not home yet) but I did manage to get quite a bit done. I finished the skeleton draft of this chapter. It’s less branchy than the last update, so I’m hoping I can work through this draft quicker, but there are some scenes I’m still iffy about and may end up moving around.
That said, this month is going to be focused on filling in the skeleton. Once I get closer to the end I’ll put out a call for beta testers since the game is getting so long and branch heavy that it’s getting hard for me to test everything myself. I’m hoping this will be Februaryish. I’m so ready to be done with this chapter. I know I say that every time, but it’s true every time.

I have not considered any explicit content dlcs. Mostly because the lack of explicit scenes is due to my own discomort writing them than anything else.

Monthly Update: February 2026
Hello everyone and happy February! I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. 
January was a bit all over the place for me in terms of work. I was out of town for a good chunk of the begining, and getting back into schedule after returning took longer than expected. I finally got back into the feel of things, so hopefully February will be more consistent.
There’s not really too much news for this update. I’m still pushing along to finish this chapter. I’m hoping it won’t be too much longer, but I’m hesitant to promise anything. I’ll probably do some sneak peaks this week, so stay tunned for those.
As always feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I’m not on the forum as much as I used to be, but I try to check it every couple of days at least.

Hey everyone, I don’t have much to say about February other than it sucked. A lot. I made some progress on Guardian of Time, but nowhere near as much as I wanted. Not much to report though, I’m still doing my best to fill in the skeleton as much as I can. That’s about it this time. Hope you all have a good March.

Monthly Update: April 2026
Hey everyone! Happy April! We made it through another month.
I’m happy to report that progress on chapter 4-2 has been going well. The first half of the month was a little slower since I decided to restructure some stuff near the end of the chapter, but it’s picked up in the second half of the month, and I’m nearing the end of the chapter, which it turning out to be not much shorter than part 1.
That said, I’m at the point where I’m certain I will be finished with the chapter this month. I’m anticipating the writing being done within the next two weeks. So I will be putting out an official call for beta testers soon. That should mean a Patreon release by the end of the month, and a public release next month.
That said I will probably not be on Tumblr or the COG forum very much for the next couple weeks while I finish everything up. I do have a few asks in my inbox that I am a bit behind on, but I’d rather focus on the next update for now. Feel free to keep sending questions, just now I’ll be a bit slower to answer.
That’s the plan for this month, so thank you all for bearing with me. I know this update has been a long time in the making, but it shouldn’t be too much longer. I hope you all have a wonderful month.

Beta Testing
Hi everyone! I mentioned before that the chapters are geting too big for me to be beta testing all by myself. With Chapter 4-2 in it’s final strentch, I would like to start looking for some testers.
I’ll be looking for a handful of people to cover as many different branches as possible. Ideally between 6 and 10. You don’t need to have any pior experience, and I’ll be conducting the test through the forum in a private thread.
I am primarily looking for people to help catch bugs and continuity errors, as well as provide stat information for balancing purposes, but of course typo/grammer reports are always welcome. There are also some specific scenes and paths that I will need tested, so I may ask people to test wih specific variables/choices.
Below is a form to apply. Most of the questions are simply some basic questions about what routes you play. None of the answers will disqualify you from testing. It’s just a way for me to select testers that will cover a variety of different paths.
The form will be open for one week, (Until April 10th) at which point I will be contacting everyone who gets selected. Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Actually the code is set to allow you to pick no more questions after 2 questions. Or 1 if you pick being too overwhelmed to speak first. And I don’t think that’s too tedious for later playthroughs, so I probably won’t change it.
Unbothered is more that MC legitimately doesn’t mind having little control/being passive in her own life, and to some extend agrees that the adults in her life are right to restrict her agency. Feeling nothing is more of an “it is what it is” mentality. I can’t change it, so I won’t waste time thinking about. This MC is more about avoidance whereas the unbothered MC is more about acceptance.

Monthly Update: May 2026
Hey guys! It’s monthly update time. I spent the first half of April finishing up chapter 4 part 2, then the second half testing and editing. . And if you missed the announcement, the patreon demo was updated last night, meaning the public update will be in three weeks. Finishing the patreon update took all month, so I don’t have much else to report.
Looking forward, there are a few more things I want to polish in the new chapter before the public update, so I’ll be working on those as well as looking over and adjusting my outline for chapter 5 part 1. I am planning to take in a bit easier before fully jumping into the next chapter and try to rest a bit. For those of you who follow me on Tumblr as well, I’m also going to do my best to work through the backlogue of asks. (There’s almost 90 right now)

Public Update for Chapter 4-2
Hey everyone! Chapter 4-2 is officially released on COG demos for the public. This update is mostly focused on chapter 4-2, but also includes a lot of minor typo/grammer things from previous chapters. THIS MEANS THAT ALL SAVES WILL BE BROKEN as every scene file has been modified. There is still the option to skip ahaead to begining chapter 4 which should hopefully make this less frustrating.
In this update you can:
- Go on your first dragon seeker mission
- Establish MC’s fighting style
- Have a training montage
- Flirt with Sentinel (or annoy him)
- Meet a cult leader
- And lots of other things.

Amazing! I cried just anticipating the scene I just know is coming where we lose a certain someone who went to war. My crazy self is looking forward to the depression era coming for the MC but that’s just cuz I have depression lol I can tell u worked hard on this, and I love how fleshed out a character Sentinel has become. I’m already quite attatched
