Its probably a lie because the poor girl has a better chance as a noble than on the street.
I thought about that, too. I find it somewhat hard to believe that O/S were willing to speak to someone they hated, pay a monthly compensation for our sake, and then say all that in the end. I think it was partially a lie to make it easier for the MC to move on and accept her new family.
.
Completely unrelated question but… which school would be the most useful or at least have the most interaction? Putting divination aside because I think the powers we get from Tempus (my nickname for our dragon) should be able to cover some of that.
Speaking of nicknames, might I recommend elven characters get a chance to use a nickname? For example, my char is called “Anurathielle” but I would like those close to her to simply call her Anu.
Well at this point hard to say far as what magic school would give more since we see so little at the moment in action. As well depends on how the author chooses to have things go in the future lol so its all equal now far as I can tell. Though combat seems a given having the most use but hard to say for sure since there is a lot of variations seemingly possible.
Not entirely sure if you meant for me to answer or not. But essentially, I don’t have all of the variations for specialty planned out. So far, I think Astral and Psionic have the most in text opprotunities. I’m hoping to write the story in such a way that any specialty feels enjoyable.
Monthly Update: October 2025
Hi everyone! I had some unexpected personal stuff come up over the month, so I wasn’t as productive during September as I wanted to be, as October will probably continue to be slightly slower. That said, I have been making progress. I am about 1/3 of the way through the skelleton draft of chapter 4 part 2.
October will be focused on adding as much to the demo as I can in addition to keeping up with this month’s patreon schedule. I will probably be on Tumblr a bit less this month, so I can focus on this chapter, but asks will be releasing from the queue everyday; I’ve just reduced the number of asks that come out of the queue each day.
Hope you all have a great October!
N e 1 else deeply disturbed that the relationship stat for Dilation doesn’t exist??? I’m worried ![]()
Who?
Lmao autocorrect sry I meant ILARION
Well lots of people not on that list some of which I thought would remain on it. So yeah could be a concern exspecially in the context of what we see later in the story. Yet not enough for me to be concerned to much at this point.
Will our MC meet Oren and S again? ![]()
![]()
Just to be clear, a lot of people don’t have relationship stats. Only characters whose relationship with the MC afrects the plot (or varies wildly) get relationship stats. Irena, for example, (MC’s younger sister) doesnt have a relationship stat becuase she always adores MC no matter what you do.
Only one of them.
In regards to oren and sam is the meeting of one based off a choice we make in game? Or is it story locked?
Which one you can meet again is story locked, but whether or not the meeting occurs is based on a choice.
That should be fixed now!
lol found a typo even so I just scrolled randomly down.
When he speeds up it becomes clear that’s he’s been taking ti easy on me. [..]

I’m losing my mind trying to win the fight in 4.1 at school is it even possible?
Talking about when mc is at the place for our dragon order training? Against the elf instructer? Then I would say hell no is the anwser lol based off the vision we can see just knowing his past and all the experiance he has we have no chance at the start.
You can’t beat him, but there is a (technically) better outcome and a worse outcome for that fight. The best you can manage is having both if you end up on the ground rather than just MC, but its really not an instance where “winning" really matters.
Just wanted to report a bug? I encountered ..
@Cat-Toes I chose to >> Tell truth >> Not your fault >> I do then this shows up (also this shows up earlier if I chose the option: “ We can talk/ I want to go to my room) ![]()
great update btw I love it ![]()
