Gender in Poison Mara's Game

They is the default one and you could input yours too. And no not the futurama ones lol.but I was saying what I found . Also I should let choose title between Ser and Mx? I put Mx but default.

My npc would have preferred pronouns by themselves

Letting people choose which honorific they prefer would probably be on the safe side.

The problem with that is the flow of the story Like I don’t want put choice after choice at beginning destroying the flow. Maybe spacing the title and that from others. That or let a choice be a I don’t care minor stuff I just want choose my pronouns.

I don’t think more choices hurt the flow or slow it down. Think about it like this–does it hurt the flow of the story to let the player name their character? No, it just lets them play a game as who they want. Same goes for letting people choose their pronouns and honorifics

You could just bung it in when you’re doing everything about name and surname.

I’m kind of tired of answering cis and binary people’s questions, so next time, take this to the Trans thread. I’ll indulge you once.

Non-binary people are a vast mass of different ideas and genders so really, there’s no 100% correct answer. Formally? More often nowadays I see ā€œserā€ or ā€œserahā€. Other times, I see the generic nb equivalent of ā€œMiss/Misterā€, which is Mix, or Mx. for short.

If you want to be entirely formal, as in writing, you can use ā€œRespected Individualā€.

I have decided Put the title choice in other scene. The gender and pronouns is when you are a baby . You could choose your title later on in a scene especially for Nb Where you explain to a servant that you aren’t a master in a sense of male . I also writing the scene when you could choose be patient with him Be sarcastic or directly angry with her bigotry. Could that be enough? In my game those types of things have consecuences.
