That’s why I dropped it too. Trauma does not excuse bad behavior or hurting the mc. The story seems to think just because X have trauma they can be excused for their bad decisions. This ain’t a healthy relationship too since if the mc want to romance X they have to bend their back to these kinds of behavior. X themselves said they wouldn’t change, so if mc want to have a continued relationship with X they have to be the one to bend to X’s will. So no you cannot be angry at X if you want to have a continued relationship with them even though they are at fault.
In a healthy relationship when you argue you both have to make compromise in order to make up. In here X doesn’t wan’t to compromise and said they won’t ever change so the mc have to be the one to do so if they want to continue their relationship, AND… that’s exactly what happened which leave a bad taste in my mouth, the effort in the relationship feels very one sided.
