You show as Nrein and expect us not to try to marry her instead?

Wait, It’s not Paradox Forum, It’s CoG Forum. Well, it seems no circle-form family trees memes today.

btw, ck2 is better that ck3

Hi! This has been on my reading list for a while now, so I’m glad I finally got to read this!

The beginning scene between Helena and Nrein was lovely, albeit sad, knowing what came after. I also really liked how we go to see the strained relationship between Jaslin and the dad on Helena’s wedding day.

I’m especially intrigued by Odo and King Vlad, so I’m excited to see more of them!!

Thank you for your work, I really enjoyed the read! Can’t wait for more!!:star_struck:

She might be evil, but she is our Evil lovable Gossa. And God help whoever dare try to harm her.

Of course! It all makes sense now!

Ah, so our sadistic queen is secretly good. Gotcha.

I’m neutral about the hairstyle, but personally I didn’t imagine Vlad to be a twink ! He is described as ambitious “ready to do everything” kinda guy but he looks like 2010 justin bieber. Still it’s not that big off an issue he just looks a bit too innocent but if you and the masses like him that way it’s ok with me.

ck2 fans when a game thats been up for barely 2 years is not as good as one thats been developed for 10: :scream: :scream: :scream:

The brief description of ol Grandpa made me think of Otto Hightower which is a huge red flag. Maybe he’ll surprise me and not be a slime ball!

Damm your story is really good. I hope in future you can finish this one

I miss societies. And playable republics. And feel disappointment about no naval warfare mechanics. Also, it took a whole year (even longer, actually) to release the first major DLC, Royal Court, and its quality is debatable.

CK3 make a few steps forward, but I don’t see that Paradox put that much effort that they put in CK2.

      **THE BUG DUMP**

So this is the post where i’ll be dumping any bugs/grammatical errors I find in the demo so @Fat_cat doesn’t have to waste time looking for this kind of stuff. This is going to contain spoilers for the demo so don’t read this unless you have read chapter 1. I’m just going to be going through the demo and post here as I find stuff. Hopefully this post will help save some time for the future! (Note: Do not try to find bugs when you’re sleep deprived. =headache and errors in text)

(This is post 1080 for future reference.)

  1. When playing male mc, I found this at the beginning after you pick the gender. I think it was supposed to say I gave birth.

  1. For both mc, when Helena walks into the room, wakes the MC up and you pick “Of course not, Mother”, there is a line where there is a quotation in the middle of a quotation.

  1. For both MCs, when picking the “I really want to sleep” option when the mc’s mother comes in and wakes them up, the I in If is capitalized in a sentence.

  1. When picking the hair color for Mc, midnight black hair is capitalized in the sentence. This applies to both Mcs.

  1. When picking long hair for both MCs, I think too long is just supposed to be long given the context. <(Not bug related, but I just imagined one of my male MC’s with the longest and most glorious red hair ever imaginable. Kela gets jealous every time she sees his majestic mane😂)>

  1. When picking the first shy flirt option with Kela in the walk through the garden, there is a missing parentheses before I. This applies to both male and female MCs.

  1. When meeting Quella and you pick the annoyed option while asking her why she is attending the lesson, there seems to be one sentence separated by a period. The I don’t care option also has this bug. This applies to both MC genders.

  1. When being rude to Quella and then picking the option where MC doesn’t remember liking Quella, there is a quotation around Kela smiles. Applies to both MCs.

  1. When MC stands for the portrait and orders their wolf to stand beside them, I think it’s supposed to say stands instead of stand. Applies to both MC’s.

  1. After seeing the painter, the next page has a capital Y at the beginning of you in the middle of the sentence. Applies to both MCs.

  1. When James asks MC to let him in to see Cat, and you pick the option “I don’t want to anger my mother”, striders seems like it should be strides and after Lenila, smiles is capitalized. Applies to both MCs

  1. Visiting Cat without James and after MC says “I don’t care” after kissing Cat’s forehead, it says “says” instead of say.

  1. While talking to James about letting him in to see Cat, choose the option to let him in but MC tells James that he owes them and it says enters when it should say enter and there is a quotation around it when Lenila is not speaking. Lowercase s also should capital S. Forgot to highlight.

  1. When you choose a custom name and Cat starts to guess different names for the wolf cub, there is an a in the sentence where there shouldn’t be. Be should also be but, right after What Silly Names. Forgot to highlight. Applies to both MCs

  1. When you pick the option for MC to be jealous about the flower in Kela’s hair from Aeron, there should be a capital S instead of a lowercase one. I forgot to highlight the last one, but at the bottom of the image, it should be lets go instead of let go. Applies to both MCs

  1. When you pick the option where you don’t believe Kela, there is a missing quotation. Applies to both MCs

  1. When talking with Quella in the garden and MC tells their cub to bark at her, and after that choose the option for Quella to pet the cub, the code breaks and jumps to the end where MC goes to dinner. Applies to both MCs

  1. Ignore Odo when MC wins the challenge and code jumps and breaks to a different name for MC then what is typed in. Applies to both MC’s

  1. When talking about Odo with Alara, pick the I don’t really know much about him option and in the middle of a sentence, there is a capital I for it’s. It is the same for the idk don’t trust choice as well. Applies to both Mcs.

  1. When finished talking with Alara, cub pronoun for a female mc is he instead of she.

  1. When visiting the library, passage has thought instead of though. Applies to both mcs.

  1. Meeting the Dark Lord and it should say scan instead of scanning. Applies to both mcs. <(Also not a bug, but I had to say RIP to the dark lord’s fabulous cape… May his horrendous fashion choices rest in peace. The Vorlen Empire has extinguished their worst enemy yet. :headstone:)>

  1. When talking to Grandmother Nasyra about mc’s grandfather, there is a missing quotation around I. Applies to both mcs.

  1. When asking Grandma N about her house, there is a missing period. Applies to both mcs.

  1. Ask about pup with Grandma N and I think there should be an s behind remind. There is also a quotation inside a quotation. Applies to both mcs.

  1. Pick the option to feed Angus and the “do” in “Nrein do the same” should be does. Applies to both MC’s.

  1. I’m not actually sure about this one, but it looks like there is a missing quotations when talking to Nrein about Far East horses. Also missing quotation at the end of when Nrein speaks. Applies to both mcs

  1. When Odo corners a female mc before supper , there is a capital B for the beginning of bark in a sentence. There is also missing quotations around “I want to give you this”.

  1. When commenting on Odo’s gift for female mc, there is a repeated text in several choices that is missing a question mark.

  1. When picking a choice to respond to Odo about present, pick the “is it my birthday” option (no romance) and there is a lowercase a where it should be capital.

  1. Choice needs a capital Y when talking to Odo about the gift. Also there is a quotation inside a quotation. Forgot to highlight, but it’s after ‘I Hate It’ <( I found this choice so funny when I first read it. Poor boy was so confused.)>

  1. When telling Helena about Odo’s gift at supper, voice is misspelled. Applies to female mc.

  1. Lie to mother about Odo’s gift and give should be gave. The same bug as 32. is in this passage of text.

  1. Pick the look at Aeron with disgust option and the text is “big” instead of pig. Applies to both Mcs.

  1. Ignore Aeron during supper and the text says sighting instead of sighing. Applies to both mcs.

Okay. I went through the demo and I seem to have found all the bugs. I might do another for chapter 2 when it comes out if needed, but we’ll see. This took a lot of time ahah

I mean, CK2 has a much longer development history than CK3 so far  And Royal Court was a bigger DLC than anything for CK2, except maybe Holy Fury.

I don’t disagree with you - CK2 is a much more polished game and I luv all of the features you mentioned. But Republics were actually a buggy mess under the hood that made their system completely un-updateable, so I completely understand them being taken out of CK3 until they can be implemented properly this time.
