Yeah, you’re absolutely right. She is just an eleven year old kid who probably wants another person to talk to besides her brother and the MC. Aeron does fit the prince charming type and she probably does have a little crush on him or at least wants to be friends.

If you think about it, this thing really makes sense. Looking at how she acted around us and her reactions towards her brother’s actions, you can really see how much she values traditions and stuff, as well as her duties for her family. Her bio proved how ambitious she is. I mean you’re not supposed to be taken lightly if the author describes you as will not rest until she achieves her goals , right?

Sigh if she was a peasant girl such an act could’ve been ignored as ignorance but she is a daughter of a prominent noble house, those guys were taught basic taboos and knowedge since childhood , especially once sent to serve in the palace so her being ignorant here really doesnt cut it.
It was considered a taboo for retainers of one royal heir to be chummy or even remotely friendly with another heir unless ofc instructed by the heir they served .
About Aeron not being an enemy , unless you plan to give up on the throne he is an enemy to what extent that enemity will go remains to be seen though this was simply the norm , kela camt excuse her behavior banking your relationship with aeron not being a norm.
