The punishments the slayers would do to the poor ignorant fool for even doing such a thing would make everyone question who the real monsters are especially in regions where the slayers can’t just do what they want due to lack of funds or support.

Lmao, it’s clues like that that makes me wonder if G/E ever kicks themselves for chasing every dragonkin rumor instead of looking for their human guise, since they and their family are apparently like the only ones that know MC can even do that.

@Dubs3 the fact that After evrey Update the saves a broken now is Not a Problem but later on coud be a Great one do try and solve it in the early stages

This happens with pretty much every cogdemo though. I don’t think I’ve ever played one where an update didn’t break saves. People usually get around by using things like demo only chapter skips and stuff.

I know but i find it irritating all the time now if you excuse me I have to re playe the game
The author has no control over that, if you want more stuff to be introduced, new variables need to be added which screws up your save file

I’ve seen in dao ascension specific spots where you could save and return to even after an update, I don’t know how they did it, but might be worth looking into. Of course, that could some problems in and of itself, so ideally CoG itself fixes this problem someday

Right but will would they even identify regardless of perspective skill since they both changed so much. Seeing their childhood friend would probably break both of them. Probably also why the MC isn’t too invested in maintaining relationships with people since we still have mental scars from that day even with the first ro romance option since could be considered a fling.

I would love it in other WIPs as well. Several difficult to start over each time.

On my series of Showering This IF With Compliments: I cannot express how liberating it is to have personality/story choices and skill choices be separate from each other. They say to “choose what you like” and “play as yourself” but that gets pretty unnapealing when “myself” is apparently smart as a door and strong as a feather, and the only way to win at childhood bully fight™ is to be the king of douches. Here you can be nice to people and still able to kick ass, have your cake AND eat it too! (what’s the point of the cake otherwise???). This IF just can’t stop winning!

The comment draws Thorin’s attention, and your art draws another pair of eyes. “It’s meant to, make you feel something I think” Thorin says.
“And what do you feel?” Finley scoffs in reply.
Thorin’s eyes study the painting further, you can visibly see twohis_her chest rise in a deep exhale, smoothly breathed out in relaxation. “It makes me feel… at ease”.
Finley’s body language is similar. “Yea, kinda reminds me of home actually”, he comment carrying a degree of reminiscence. “which is interesting since it’s just like, scribbles of bright paint”.
- “This is so exciting! So long without a sighting and now two! In one night! So what happened when you were in the room?”
“What? No, no I wasn’t in the room. This was some time after everything started. Myself and some others were moving people to safety. At some point I went look for Valyria and I’d run in to one of them. That’s when she showed up.”
The smile that forms on Jepp’s face is like that of a proud parent. “That’s when she showed up?” Jepp asks again.

“Right” Jepp responds, smile still present. “Can you tell me any more?”
“Well it had Golden Scales scales. It was fast, I didn’t exactly stick around though”
- “They tried to say it didn’t matter! To- to, devalue the words of the witnesses” Jepp grows further agitated. When the opposing council delivered their first retort, Jepp began to fall apart immediately. Luckily enough, his father had been present to continue.

“We did not lose!” Maester Hughes rushes over to the fireplace area. Today Maester Hughes witnessed a strength in Jepp he had feared would never blossom. “We only need to prove it… this is what is means to be Scholar.”
Maester Hughes maintains eye contact with his child, as if hoping to imprint his experience and understanding into him by channel of eye contact alone. His hands squeeze at Jepp’s sides, “I’ve been called to the Duchess’ side. But upon my return, we can figure it out together.”
Maester Hughes stands abruptly, grabbing his coat and satchel before heading out the door. J_J slowly makes his way over to the window to watch his father depart. Despite being out of stamina vials, and out of funding, Maester Hughes’ demeanor is that of a man on the rise. Although the reason for it flies well over Jepp’s head.

“FUCK!” Gavin cries in frustration as he raises his arms from the side of the tub and slams them into the water with closed shaking fists. He simultaneously actives his perception skill as he forces his eyes wide open. Gavin’s eyes fill with enough mana to light his bright blue eyes. It’s easy to ignore the water that splashes up and out due to the searing feeling in his eyes. The tears sizzle and burn away as Gavin stares into the unsettled water until both it and he calms.

Jepp, who lacks the experience, and the courage to defend his shared theories, can only sit by, watching Maester Hughes. He finds himself unable to sit still at times, his mind thinking of every retort he could say but not give voice to himself.
