I got a scene with the vampire escorting some kids when I went to look for Tanya. Even though I killed him in an earlier scene.

Has the archery contest scene been altered or shortened? I think I liked the older one more where the MC reaches up to touch the placard with Gavin’s/Eve’s name on it and feeling proud of his/her progress after all their years apart. I think that is a very sweet moment.

@Cryzhentia I fixed a couple where fire is included in the ice element path, I couldn’t find that verbiage though. So it’s maybe fixed…

Tried the demo for the first time last night and really enjoyed it ^^
I have some thoughts - and I will say that they might be wrong because it was quite late and now it is the next day so my memory is possibly fuzzy.
There were multiple instances of mixed her/his for characters and some " missing from conversations, typically in the beginning of a page. The first conversation with Christian and his two friends could need some tightening up - I didn’t even realise he was there because he didn’t comment when the others spoke about him in the beginning of the conversation.
(and for some reason I was sure the first supernatural creature the MC meets was a zombie? lol. At least till we begin talking with him and get more description.)
So far my fave characters are the Hughes and Gavin. I really enjoyed when Jepp tells the MC about what they (don’t) know! I very much look forward to that RO route. (Also curious about the Christian route because I like a good enemies-to-lovers.)
Generally I love the temp POVs! I don’t remember seeing that done in a lot of IFs and it is so satisfying choosing the kind option every single time knowing you prove the dragon haters wrong XD
I was surprised at us not having a tail? It feels so ingrained in the dragon myths but I realise these aren’t exactly dragons and my mental image was just wrong. The only flying animals I can think of without tails are bats so it is perfectly possible, just unsual.

Btw the fight with bandit do mention tail swipe if I am not misremembering, maybe it was maybe not I sometimes get mixed up between this or tales of dragoons

When I met him I asked what questions I could then asked about the scent of blood coming from the building. When he asked me if that was a problem I told him it was a problem for me then decided he had to die in order to protect the humans of the city. I’m playing a Golden eyed and Silver feather scaled draca that just want to live her life in peace.

To each, their own sense of justice and peace. If their goal is to live in harmony with humanity, the presence of a natural predator of mankind could be a threat.
Besides, a vampire is a thinking individual, capable of reason, they are responsible for their actions, it’s debatable whether they can be called “natural” at all. It’s not as if this draca was going around snatching rabbits from the jaws of wolves in a misguided attempt to do right by them.

It is debatable about food, since we have limited lore about the race in this world I would assume as vampire they need blood, is it specifically human blood? Or humanoid blood? I don’t really know but one can get blood without kidnapping if the vampire kinda good alignment, consentualist feeding do exist at least if consentualist prove to be too much one can always feed that only leave victim anemic and not outright kill the victim.
MC will meet the vampire regardless of occupation but on different scene if MC is not a hunter, as alchemist MC will find the vampire running seeking shelter with supposedly the victim, MC can confront them the vampire will give their reasoning and argue he doesn’t have ill will, the encounter doesn’t end in a fight if MC choose to believe the vampire
Personally I feel the vampire doesn’t want to kill the victim he is out and about seeking shelter with them, if he value the victim and doesn’t left them in the mansion I would assume he at least doesn’t eant to kill them, the reason as why human can end up in vampire clutch is still a mystery there is plenty scenario that can play out, such as vampire grooming a childe or maybe they’re poor/homeless and vampire provide housing and food in return he get blood or other reason.

Best source is giving them a place in the mansion and feed off them as needed. Changing it up time and again to keep it safe.
Also, not just strangers but build reputation with them.
I haven’t played recent to seen the vampire as an alchemist yet.
