My Pyrrhos is very nice though. He only gets irritable and vengeful at those who disrespect or harm his loved ones (spec his beloved chthonic gods) . So he’d easily get used and muse that he can’t blame them for being human. ![]()
The Sisyphus myth in particular will not appear, though there is another one that should be able to give those who’d like a chance to be a little more fearsome the opportunity to do that!
There are of course loads and loads of myths I could use, and I’d never be able to cover them all in just two games, unfortunately. ![]()
True, about not being able to cover every myth, you have my attention about using a different myth that will work. I will not ask for spoilers. I am intrigued. ![]()
Yes, gimme a chance for my MC to flex his magic in defense of his family! ![]()
![]()
Although my MC is probably more cute then powerful in Hades eyes. Like watching a particularly stubborn flower trying to grow through concrete. Or a weed. But hey, even weeds have a thorn or two. ![]()
Don’t discount weeds, they’re some of the most successful plant life on the planet!
I’ve never understood why spring is supposed to be such a “gentle” season. Yes, winter is over. But growth itself is violent, it often only on a microscopic scale. So is birth. And rivers breaking free of ice, are you kidding me? And there are always those sudden blizzards that pop up in places, and violent thunderstorms, etc. Whoever thinks spring and its associated deities aren’t fearsome was clearly only paying attention to the aspects of the season that they liked. Historically, far more people have died of exposure in the spring than in any other season, simply because spring and all it’s promise makes people incautious of the risks.
In other words, Persephone should already be considered a figure of some dread (and yes, historically, there is evidence that she was.) Playing a more terrifying version should be more easy than you think.
Well, I did say my Pyrrhos has a very similar side to Demeter when aggravated in just the right way. He’s just more peaceful and agreeable most of the time. So it fits with spring.
I only said it’s cute to Hades, cause we are still only a demigod…though we may become true gods/goddesses at this rate.
But just ask that one Titan if you doubt my Pyrrhos. He learned what happens when you hurt Hades in front of him. Because my boy is nice, but he is not a pushover and certainly not a pacifist. He just put all his stats into wis and int. ![]()
Hi everyone.
Chapter Six is now playable. I hope you’ll enjoy it. ![]()
Content Warning: animal cruelty (Hekate route only)
Help this is so good
Hades my lovee
the slow burn is finally burning
I’m so happy my spring goddess gets to spend time with her long lost dad, start smooching Hades proper, AND be considered for the position of Makaria’s mom down the line
her Underworld found family is awesome but a family family would be
(yes we’re still butthurt over Demi’s crap but we’ll gloss over that)
All the ongoing plots are riveting as well! Can’t wait for the next chapter ![]()
I hit a bug when I got to the part where the Fates contact MC about a prayer he was about to recieve. MC commented about how he got rid of his ability to receive prayers, which wasn’t the option I chose in the recap. My MC liked his ability to answer prayers.
Not a bug. Just how the current wip works without the variables from your save from the first game. This was discussed earlier in the forum thread. ![]()

Hello, everyone!
The new chapter is here. I hope you enjoy playing, and of course if you encounter any errors (especially in continuity—some of these sections are complicated code-wise), I’d love to know about them.
Here it is. As always, starting from a fresh save is advised, otherwise some things may not work as intended.
Ah, I do enjoy kicking a certain god’s arse. Starting to become a yearly event. We should make it a yearly Underworld festival. We can tie him up like a pinata and beat him till candy comes out. ![]()
(This said by my kind and logical, but overly protective and vendictive Demi-God. ![]()

Iasion to Demeter: “He gets that from you.”)
Demeter: “…I want to argue that point, but I don’t think I can.”
This is just because of how the character creator works. Dreams are ‘switched off’ by default; the only way to switch them on is to choose visiting Hypnos as your second stop when selecting what you did in chapter six.
It will work normally when full importing is possible in the released game, but until then if you want the ‘still have dreams’ flavor text, you’ll need to select that specific option in the CC, sorry.
Loved the update! I’m a big fan of the story. I haven’t read the WIP in a while so it was nice to get quite a lot of new content.
I wonder what the flags are for Iasion? Can MC only ever want a relationship with him and encourage him to pursue immortality? My MC had mixed feelings and therefore interacted with Iasion to find out. By the latest chapter I decided I don’t really want them to have a relationship, but then I was railroaded on the MC wanting Iasion to pursue immortality to be in their life.
Aside from that I’ve been thinking about Hades’ feelings a bit. I just had a discussion with a friend about his words in the scene where he asks to court the MC (and she hasn’t even read the story, bless her). I have so many questions about it still which I have a difficult time interpreting from the few scenes we get. How I see the character is that there is a weight to Hades - his being, his feelings, his choices. And so any decision he takes is done after careful consideration. But how long has he thought about asking to court the MC. How long has he been aware of his feelings? In short: what’s going on in his head?
To add to that, after kissing MC, I think he says something along the lines of “you’ll be the end of me”. Which, to me, would imply some sort of negative consequences to his feelings. Death, in a drastic sense, but also pain or uncertainty. My friend suggested maybe it’s a change of personality/life, rather than anything so literal. I’m curious to hear your perspective. Or not, if there’s answers later in the story. I just wish I would understand his thoughts a little more during the romance scenes.
Hi there; thanks for the feedback. With Iasion, there are a couple of earlier opportunities for the PC to change their mind, but you do sort of end up locked in, so to speak, and definitely by Chapter Seven. I’ll take a look at adding a slightly more nuanced path where a PC might be willing to help him with the mortality problem without committing to a relationship, or decide they’re not willing to do that at all, but it is quite late in the game by this point.
May I ask when/why you made that decision? It might help me pinpoint where to put an ‘exit,’ so to speak.
As for Hades, well, your friend is right that the ‘end of me’ phrase is metaphorical. Hades’s life has been fundamentally changed by the introduction of the PC and his developing feelings for them, which is certainly something that happened slowly over time. Asking to court them was the result of a lot of deliberations and second-guessing, because despite his assurance in himself in some areas, he does have some self-esteem troubles in the area of interpersonal relations, especially of the romantic kind.
I think I’ll be doing a scene later where the PC has a chance to pick at his thoughts a little more, so that’s all I’ll say for now.
Thank you so much for explaining! It’s very fun to learn more about the characters.
That is good to know! I did feel I’m just not interpreting the scene correctly, but couldn’t pinpoint why. So I’ll be very happy if there’s a scene later where you can ask questions ![]()
For most choices I picked things that were like “I’m not sure yet”, “I have mixed feelings”, “We’ll see where this goes”.
The first time I felt I might “lock in”, so to speak, is when Iasion writes a letter to the PC about wanting to talk about something. I believe you have 2 choices where you can say you want to see him again and talk about this, and 1 choice where you say you don’t want to see him again. The first time I picked a choice where I would talk to him, even knowing this might imply to the game that my PC wants a relationship. However, on a logical level, the PC had already agreed at this point to keep an eye on this area and check in with Iasion if anything strange is happening, so it seemed odd to me that I would not look into what he had to say. And that led to the outcome of wanting a relationship with him and supporting him in his pursuit of immortality.
However, when I went back to this choice and picked that I don’t want to see him again, it still led to the same outcome. Is this supposed to be that way?
Describing my emotions behind this choice is a bit difficult. I tried to be balanced in that my PC is kind and would try getting to know Iasion a little, but with the understanding that he’ll pass on soon. The moment when I went “actually, no” is when Iasion describes how he wants to pursue immortality to have PC in his life, and, if possible, Demeter. And at that point I would have loved to be able to say “You can do what you want with your life, but do it for yourself. There is no guarantee of a relationship with me”. I guess part of the emotion in me is that the PC is an adult now and just recently managed to build a life standing on their own feet. Iasion seems nice, but they do not need a father anymore, and they do not know him well enough to guarantee that they can be friends.
I hope that makes sense. I know it’s a delicate issue and I’m sure many other people feel differently than me.
No need to worry, I promise I won’t be offended! Honestly, this is helpful; I’m really glad to know what you’re thinking here.
I had some options where PC was agreeing to help Iasion but not guaranteeing what that future relationship might be, but I can see where this is a little different from that, and I do think perhaps one last exit point from things would be appropriate.
I think getting this kind of nuance just right will take some time, so I can’t promise everything will line up properly right away, but I’ll definitely have a look at those scenes and make room for something like that. Hopefully it’ll be out with the next public update. ![]()
Sincerely, thank you for the feedback; this kind of thing is so useful.
Of course! I’m happy that this helps. I love the game for how cozy and respectful it is and have been recommending it to my friends on that basis ![]()
